Feeling A Bit Drained

crossover_chickI had a rather iffy day at work, Mom had an absolutely shit one, it was a super-cold day, and it's day #2 of my period, meaning I'm still in "Grouchy Tired" central, sooo. . .yeah. Not exactly the best Thursday. Though a few nice things happened:
-->Got a nice comment on "The Technicolor Phase"
-->Got TWO shorts written for the Valice Shipping Week stuff (an angsty one and a silly one) -- I got through the first and intended to just start the second, but then it just sort of -- kept going. I'm cool with that -- means I'll be sure of them being ready for week after next.
-->Watched some fun videos:
A) The mansion living room build from The Sim Supply (apparently a very lengthy process, as it was a big room and the actual "living room" area only took up a small part of it -- he ended up making a music nook and a reading nook to fill in the space. Turned out nicely)
B) Two RTGamer videos -- one from Cities: Skylines where he created an "Atlantis" city with all sorts of advanced stuff. . .and then flooded it XD; and one from Sims 4 where his cat Afraid (which literally has "AFRAID" written on him thanks to Paint Mode) had kittens! With his unique fur pattern, which RT was amazed at XD
C) One Deli video where she returned to a save where she killed off all the regular Sims in a world and replaced them with Deli clones. Her new project was to "kidnap" an alien man from Sixam and make an alien baby farm. This -- somewhat backfired on her, as the crying from the alien babies at the end LITERALLY DROWNED OUT HER VOICE XD That ending shot was definitely of a woman regretting her life choices.
-->Quiet night on ValiceMultiverse, meaning I was able to get the queue done quickly, yay~
So not all doom and gloom, which is good. Time to empty out the inbox and go to bed, methinks. Got one more day to get through tomorrow -- and my coworker is out, so I'll be handling it on my own. I'm not sure if that'll be a good thing or a bad one. . . But it is Friday, so -- something. Night all!
