Quiet And Somewhat Distracted Friday

crossover_chickThe "quiet" part was at work -- not only was my coworker out (day off taken before my other coworker got sick), but most of the people in the back ended up leaving early for the day. Fortunately, it was also quiet in the sense of no major crises -- the GL added up, and I spent most of the day going through some returns from our processing company -- marking donors deceased and things like that. A few quick gifts, and I was on my way. VERY much appreciated, especially after a couple of the more-stressful days in the middle of this week.
The "somewhat distracted" part came at home, after supper -- I did my usual workout, then we had pastrami sandwiches (yay!), and then I came back online with the INTENTION of getting some writing done. . .but I wanted to read some of a fanfic I've been poking at first, and. . .
Well, it was 9 o'clock before I could tear myself away. Ooops. ^^; I DID eventually get my writing done -- first draft of a Lovecraft Jazz short for Valice Shipping Week. And I watched one video in my subscriptions -- Helloween ATTEMPTING to start a brief Earthworm Jim LP for hole-filling purposes, only to run headlong into the fact that the game is HARD AS BALLS and go juuust a bit mad. XD But, uh, yeah, not exactly my greatest night for productivity. I'm trying my best to catch up now. At least my replies to most of the stuff in my inbox is pre-drafted. . . And I don't have any big plans for this weekend beyond "clean my room and actually play BioShock Infinite," so I can spend some then catching up on videos and what-not. And maybe even take some time to read the darn fanfic PROPERLY, instead of just going to all the cool bits I saw on TV Tropes. :p We'll see what happens.
For now, I do have some stuff to catch up on -- mainly queuing on both my tumblrs. So best to get back to it. *salutes* Night all!
