Thought It Would Be Smooth Sailing

crossover_chickThat's what I get for basing my hopes on the day on a decent ride in. Another day of minor crises at work (largely focused around an e-mail sent out last night), and weird letters (people are getting, er, creative in expressing their displeasure with the diocese). At least I got some stuff done. . .including some roster maintenance, which, yay for me I guess.
I also got some writing done here at home -- another chunk of Chapter 9 edited. Victor's had another nightmare, poor thing -- Alice is giving him some hugs and cheering up him with her story of her defeat of the Jabberwock. I really like writing them cuddling, I have to say. I know it technically goes against the "hates being touched" comment one of the orphans says about her in A:MR, but I tend to interpret that as she hates being touched by strangers (basically, you have to earn it), so. . . Look, if American McGee can forget and retcon her AGE between games, I can tweak a once-mentioned trait for my OTP feels.
I also caught up on my videos -- two mansion room-building videos from The Sim Supply (all the bathrooms in the house, the home office, and the baby's room), and another set of Vampyr from Helloween (Dr. Bitey does all the sidequests (that he can, anyway) and wrecks the dudes who were giving him grief last set with his new levels). Feels good to be more or less on top of that again. . .even if I still have to work my way through the stuff in Watch Later. And apparently the next Atop The Fourth Wall episode hits tomorrow. . .well, it's the weekend, and it's DEFINITELY going to be a "staying in" one (we're expecting a storm -- more coastal, but there will be rain and wind here). I should have time.
What I don't have is time right now, so time to empty out the inbox and go to bed! Night all!
