Shockingly Nice Start Of November

crossover_chickYou don't usually get the opportunity to open your windows after Halloween's come and gone! But it got up to at least mid-60s today, so we all took the opportunity to grab some fresh air. My parents went on a bike ride, and I did my old five loops around the neighborhood for three miles. Good times! Gotta appreciate these days while we can -- we're slowly but surely creeping on the uber-cold time of year. Meeeh.
Day was pretty nice overall, honestly. Always nice to have a day where you can sleep in and laze around a bit. :p And I got a fair bit done as well:
-->Edited another one of my Valice Shipping Week shorts -- a Forgotten Vows verse one, which hopefully should go over well with people. Just a couple more to go, and then back to "Fixing You!" Gotta regain my momentum on that one.
-->Played Sims 4 -- sent the McFly family to Geekcon after Emmett invited Marty out and I found I could take the toddlers with me. They had fun -- participated in a couple of the contests before Marty went to work and Jennifer took the kids back home. Spent the last bit of gameplay buying stuff for Winterfest -- it's tomorrow on their in-game calendar! Looking forward to it -- another holiday, AND I'm planning on growing Douglas up! Should be a blast. :D

A) From The Sim Supply, some Bigwallet family gameplay (everyone in that house always seems to be on the verge of dying from need failure; also the laundry situation is out of hand XD At least his machines don't BREAK every five seconds like the McFly ones do) and another "Random Packs Build Challenge" (poor guy got FIVE stuff packs, none of which had any kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom stuff included. Also, the only flooring and wallpaper options he had were from Bowling Night Stuff. He made a rather interesting little house as a result. XD)
B) From Call Me Kevin, a final look at Dick Pickens in Sims 1 (he had a series of unsuccessful dates, killed his wife via living room fireplace and locking her in with a men's room only door, lost his superstar job, adopted a cat which ended up dying, and threw a deadly pool party that nonetheless attracted Drew Carey). Says he'll be moving onto Sims 2 next; I'm looking forward to it XD
C) From Deligracy, two more gameplay videos and one look at CAS from Sims Camp (she showed off some interesting stuff, like how hard it is to impress a celebrity and how the new in-game drones for capturing video on the go works -- unfortunately, she couldn't do much with the acting career because her game was bugged and wouldn't let her actually attend the gig! And while she showed off some awesome stuff in CAS, the video itself was uploaded at 480p because she was traveling and hadn't realized she'd exported it at such low quality. Poor thing)
-->And of course got my Valice Multiverse queue done. Now I just gotta get my main blog queue set. . .and answer all the stuff in my inbox too. . .one of these days I'm going to have better time management, I swear. For now, though -- night!
