Had some delicious chicken tenders and veggie slices for lunch; a big old pizza for supper; and some gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate for dessert. Good food day all around. :) We also finished off the "Haunted Gingerbread Showdown" -- our favorite guy didn't win, but the guy who did I have to say made a spectacular piece. Both of them put a lot of love and care into getting their designs just right. As did the lady who made it to the finals, just -- her technique wasn't up to theirs. Ah well. I'd watch it if it came around again next year; I just hope they find a different host! Sandra Lee isn't as annoying as the guy on "Halloween Wars," but she ain't great either.

As per usual, I spent most of the morning reading TV Tropes on my iPad, then got down to business after lunch. Actually had a fairly productive Sunday, too:

-->Finished off the second third of Chapter 9! I was on a roll and decided I wanted to get it done. This means I can now get into the June stuff to finish things off. Maybe, just maaaybe I can get the chapter done in time for this Friday. Might depend on how far I get tomorrow, as Wednesdays tend to be solely for posting "Technicolor Phase" now. Even if I can't get it up by this Friday, though, I KNOW I'm good for Thanksgiving weekend. :)

-->Caught up on the videos in my Watch Later queue -- helped by the fact that my subscriptions were pretty much silent today. Kinda weird. O.o Watched Jay take on a game all about sneaking into a boy's bedroom and solving puzzles to retrieve a love letter (which has a very creepy twist if you solve all the puzzles before said boy catches you); Deli build a couple of very unique houses and do some disastrous Instagram-follower-voted-on Simming with her Simself in Sims 4 (there were multiple deaths, both deliberate and accidental -- including almost the Deli Sim herself), and Call Me Kevin start a home business with the Pickens family in Sims 2 (selling rotten lemonade with the help of the mole people; also Dick gets a girlfriend who's a counterfeiter and picks up a counterfeiting machine of his own XD) and proves to be the world's worst hitman in Hitman 2 (he started off the racetrack mission in a clown suit. Mike of OXBox would be so proud XD). Oh, and a fun analysis/summary of Dracula and how it works as a book from a channel called "Overly Sarcastic Productions." And good times were had by all XD

-->Played some Sims 4 myself -- FINALLY got Douglas aged up! He is now a child -- I gave him the Social Butterfly aspiration to start with, and the Outgoing trait as he was a Charmer as a toddler. I also built him a new room upstairs and decorated it with Void Critter stickers -- I've pretty much NEVER done anything with that bit of the game, so I've decided it's going to be his thing. Probably gonna get Emma into it too, if I remember. But that's for later -- this wrapped up my stay at the McFlys, so it's back over to Eric now! Be kind of a relief to only look after ONE Sim after all the nonsense of a family with two toddlers. Though I am thinking of having him get a pet. . .

And currently I'm getting my ValiceMultiverse queue set up and seeing what I have to take care of in the inbox. I may watch some more "Overly Sarcastic Productions" stuff if I don't end up doing anything else. I watched their video on HP Lovecraft too, and it was a hoot. :p Should probably also see about getting some of my Sims pictures sorted for the usual Wednesday update. . . Though I'll have time to do that tomorrow as well. Just have to remember I have to make muffins too. . . Always something to do, even on my days off. Better than going to work though. Night!
