crossover_chickWas NOT going to miss my 10:04 post today! I even watched something appropriate right before coming here to post: this neat comparison of the Clock Tower Scene from all three installments! It's neat to compare what shots were reused, and which were redone for the sequels from the original. And seeing the lightning hit the clock tower in triplicate is pretty awesome. :D
Anyway, it's been a pretty chill Monday off, all things considered. And not just temperature-wise. I did end up watching a bunch of stuff from Overly Sarcastic Productions last night -- what can I say, I like their style. Finally went to bed at 2:30 in the morning after watching two-thirds of their take on The Divine Comedy. Finished up with the last third this morning, followed by a painful build for the poor Sim Supply -- someone promised to donate $100 to his Movember campaign if he did a build with just base game -- and My First Pet Stuff. A pack he LOATHES, and for good reason. He did it because it's all going to charity, and actually made a pretty decent "lonely old cat lady grandma" house. Guy was almost begging us to download it and renovate it into something decent, though. XD The perils of fame, James. . .
Then this afternoon, I moved on to watching the playback of a livestream the OXBox crew did, along with their latest Show of the Week! Neither of these are things that I usually watch from them, but both of them were themed around Hitman 2, which is basically my favorite game that they play, so -- I took the time. :p Good stuff all around -- Andy failed at his attempt to get a statue to fall on someone; Jane rather sloppily completed a kill via giant death fan (after many false starts), while Mike just went full Mike with a wrench and managed to complete a mission. XD I am so looking forward to their "3 Ways To Play" series on this. Hilarious Hitman shenanigans is one of the main reasons I seek out their videos. :) There was also another Vampyr set from Helloween, featuring more incredibly snooty lords being incredibly snooty, dark secrets about the leader's lineage, an order to go turn some other asshole because Jonathan has super-vampire-blood, a quest through the sewers which led to us killing some invisible-fedora-wearing asshat who had kidnapped a woman to force her to be his vampire bride, and entering a new part of the West End that contains two very odd brothers and a mother who's hurting her daughter -- possibly to get attention from doctors. Spanish Flu era England, everyone!

-->Got another nice chunk done on Chapter 9, yay~ The gang is home from their trip, and June's getting the skinny on her mother and her brother. She's -- a little surprised to hear Bonejangles is her brother. And that he's dating Lizzie. XD I'm probably not going to finish it up in time to post this week, but I should finish it this week, at least. We'll see what happens tomorrow and Wednesday (Thursday will be too late for my queue).
-->Played Sims 4 -- hello, Eric, always good to see you again! Yes, the life of a single Sim is much more relaxing these days, let me tell you. He actually did a fair bit today -- went ice skating, finished up the latest case at his job, started another one, went to the gym to work out for a bit. . . All good stuff. Of course, now I can't play since the patch is dropping tomorrow, and that's going to cause some SERIOUS mod breakage. Have to wait until the dust clears and MC Command Center updates. At least now I have a decent buffer to take me through the end of the month! Though I still have to take a moment to prep the pictures. . .
-->Baked muffins -- yeah, a small thing, but it means I have breakfast for another few weeks. And I was worried I was going to forget.
So yeah, typical day off, really. Now it's time to catch up on any comments I may have missed, send some messages, and see about getting at least some of those pictures taken care of. Four days back to the grind tomorrow. . .and a dentist visit this upcoming Saturday. Meeh. But right after that is Thanksgiving, so I'll be all right. :p Night all!
