Usual Sort of Sunday

crossover_chickOnly without a Pats game to watch as this week was their bye week. And, as usual, I'm trying to do too many things at once at the end of the day, so here's a quick summary of the highlights:
-->Caught up on The Sim Supply's stuff with two builds -- his attempt at recreating Ann Perkin's house and The Pit from Parks & Rec (I have no idea how accurate he was, but it was a fun little lot all the same), and a rooftop club he built to spice up the club scene in Del Sol Valley (which turned out really awesome-looking -- even if most of the actual building is empty to force Sims to go up to the roof and not hang about downstairs XD)
-->Also caught up on the last comparison video The Red Plumbob made about Seasons across the various Sims games that had them -- all about Spring (Sims 4 seems to have the best weather, in my opinion, but I kind of miss the old wishing well); More Rude Jokes In Video Games That One Didn't Get Until Later -- Commenter Edition from OXBox (includes plenty of masturbation jokes, and one surprisingly highbrow vasectomy joke); and Deligracy tackling the world's spikiest floorplan (and making it work, including the very tricky roof!)
-->Watched Helloween's latest Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin set -- we've completed another painting world (Egyptian-themed this time) and Charlotte has proven to be a beast with a variety of spells, from fiery death to icy death to windy death. Seriously, girl will wreck your shit and not even break a sweat. We've also learned our current villain, Brauner, doesn't have all of Dracula's minions on his side -- Death was surprised to hear Dracula wasn't around, and doesn't seem pleased there's an interloper. . . Of course, given it's a video game, he's going to leave the task of destroying said interloper to us instead of doing anything useful in the background. :p At least Charlotte's got the goods, like I've said.
-->Did some more editing on Chapter 10 of "Fixing You" -- past the "setting up" bits, and we're tumbling down the rabbit hole to Wonderland! I'm really looking forward to getting into the meat of this chapter -- it's basically a tour of some of my favorite spots between both games. :) Alice bringing other characters into Wonderland is just so much fun, y'all!
-->Got my pictures edited for this Wednesday's update -- two and a half size, which is a little surprising as it's Douglas's birthday. Thought I'd taken a bit more than that. . .well, it's still good. And shows off Douglas's room, which I don't think is half-bad if I do say so. (Though I'm nowhere near James's level of skill, that's for damn certain.)
-->Did my ValiceMultiverse queue (VictorLuvsAlice is covered for a bit) -- took a bit to fill it out, but I made it!
And now I just have to clear out the inbox before going to bed. Three-day work week, yay~ Hopefully it won't be three days of pure hell. . .night all!
