A Quiet Monday?

crossover_chickYeah, a genuine one -- traffic both in and out of work was pretty standard, and work itself had no major disasters. I spent most of the day going merges (and trying to figure out if certain accounts were duplicates or a father/son pair with the same name) and marking bad addresses from returned mail. *shrug* Day went by. That's all that matters.
And it's probably for the best that it was quiet, as guess who got her period today! Fortunately no clothes-ruining, but it's never fun no matter what. At least I should be over the worst of it by Thanksgiving. . .never good to be a grouchy, exhausted mess on a major family holiday. Especially since this is the first year in ages we'll be having any family over.
Evening's been pretty solid, overall. Got another chunk done on "Fixing You" Chapter 10 -- the trip down the rabbit hole for Victor and Alice. Poor Victor is in a bit of a state when he first falls down it. XD And I borrowed an element from the Tim Burton AiW rabbit hole just for funsies -- that movie may not be perfect, but it had its bright spots. Right up to the point where Victor and Alice land in the Vale of Tears -- and discover their new costumes. :p That's gonna be fun.
Over on YouTube, I watched Helloween's latest Vampyr set -- shit is hitting the fan, that's for sure! Reid's tracked down the initial source of infection (which was a result of a friend of his having a MAJOR failing of medical ethics, lovely), and now he has to stop Patient Zero and get the ingredients to an antidote. Looks like we're nearing the end here -- I'm very intrigued indeed. And a bit sad to see the game go -- I'm still not a fan of its saving system, but the story's been pretty awesome. I also snuck in an episode of Sims Logic, which is always good for a laugh. :) Particularly when it features the most ridiculous vampire dark form I've seen ever. XD
And, after catching up on my webcomics, I spent the rest of my evening getting my queue ready for the week -- keeping it simple for the holidays means I'm good straight through Friday! And I already have ideas for Saturday, so I might set that up tomorrow or Wednesday. :) Aaah, nice to be a bit ahead for a change. :p Now I just have to say the same of my inbox. . .time to clear it out before hitting the sack. Two more days to go, and I need to get a better night's sleep tonight than I did last night. Stupid hot flashes. . . All right, night all!
