crossover_chickNot quite so stressful, at least -- no major interruptions to the project was working on. Had to help my coworker with a lot of stuff, though (finding people and files and whatnot). . .it can be tough with only two of us in the office. Hopefully the situation will improve in the near future. We'll see how December goes.
Got some more written on Chapter 10 -- still in the Deluded Depths section, mostly because I was poking at some dialogue and looking up Helloween's A:MR revist to refresh my memory on what the section they're in actually looks like. Victor and Alice are trying some actual SWIMMING in the Depths! I thought it would be fun, and also a funny little shout-out to the dropped swimming mechanics from the game. I mean, I don't BLAME Spicy Horse for ditching them, the swimming in the first game was fiddly as hell, but still. :p
We had some old and some new in the YouTubery today -- a video from The Sim Supply showing off more of the "Bread To Riches" livestream LP (cats cats everywhere, as well as a wall made from cutting boards and wall nub decorations XD Which promptly had to be shored up with basically an 8th-size wall because Sims and cats could glitch right through it. Willet's also advanced in baking skill, so James and Gluon are investing in a small garden so she can grow the ingredients necessary for carrot and potato bread); and the first set of Helloween's newest LP -- DOOM (2016)! Which was a roller-coaster ride straight from the start -- you LITERALLY start off the game smashing a possessed corpse's head in. Non-stop action from the word go. Helloween was clearly having a ball. Well, up until the point where he kept getting himself killed via being rammed into laser grids. XD It's a very different animal from the last couple of LPs, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless. Nice break from all these story-heavy RPGs.
And then I spent a good chunk of the rest of my evening wrangling my incredibly big queue for ValiceMultiverse -- LOOOT of asks. Didn't quite fill up all my queue slots, but came awfully close. AND I've got a full inbox, so I'd better get to emptying that out too. Kinda impressed I was able to get it all drafted and ready to go over lunch (especially since I got interrupted to help my coworker with something). Hopefully tomorrow I'll have an easier time wrangling it all. . . G'night!
