crossover_chick | Busy Day, Quiet Night

Work was pretty stressful -- I meant to put on all this stuff, and didn't get to ANY of it because the phone was ringing so much and I kept getting yanked into other projects. I'm REALLY hoping at least the last gifts off the old system are settled now. . .we'll see in the morning, I suppose. It's just -- frustrating, because I'm trying not to fall behind, but it's near impossible when just about EVERYBODY wants a piece of me. *sigh* Well, two more days to go -- hopefully I'll get something on before the week is up.

Night, by contrast -- once I got past the traffic getting home -- was pretty chill. Helloween's got his girlfriend over, so his next videos won't be out until likely Friday -- but then he'll be starting Resident Evil 2, so that's something to look forward to. And I have The Sim Supply and Linkara to amuse me in the meantime. Watched the former build a pretty cool A-frame house that he turned into a "it's kind of like Grandma's house only you pay money to stay there" rental property in Granite Falls. XD It's actually really well done -- I'm tempted to download it and have a family stay there at some point. And the latter had a fun episode reviewing a two-parter episode of Phineas and Ferb which featured some Marvel superheroes and villains (a post-takeover Disney/Marvel crossover). The main villain of the former show accidentally drained the powers of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk, and shenanigans ensued as the titular kids tried to help the heroes get them back while the villains the heroes had been fighting teamed up with the villain of the show. An amusing romp that Linkara enjoyed -- always nice to see him review something that he genuinely likes. I also watched some epic and funny moments from Bloodborne (always a treat) and a few more Fraiser clips, because why not. Discovered a song I like too while doing so, which is a nice bonus.

I also got up the next chapter of "The Technicolor Phase" -- Lizzie Green! Which is more about Emily telling Lizzie "oh hey, Victor and Victoria met Alice, she's okay" than anything to do with the color she got from Lizzie, but I made my bed when it came to chapter titles and now I must lie in it. Hopefully it's a good read nonetheless. . . Went up pretty smoothly too, which I appreciated. Fingers crossed something similar happens with Chapter 13 of "Fixing You" tomorrow.

Anyway, been good to destress some tonight -- time to empty out the inbox and try to get some sleep. Which hasn't been forthcoming much lately, but -- eventually. Got the weekend coming up, anyway. Night all!
