Da da da da, Da da da da
Nov. 21st, 2004 11:22 pmGeorge and Lorraine finally got married in Strangetown! I had a Saturday Wedding, in the afternoon so everybody could make it. :) Here's pics:
Pre-Wedding Socializing
Huh! Apparently Lorraine married a Rich George
I Love You
A Toast!(Don't worry for Doc -- the Sim world contains no alcohol)
Have Some Cake M'Dear
The Party qualified as a Roof Raiser, which was cool. I've actually got a knack for throwing great parties in this version of the game. Afterwards the couple went on their honeymoon while Doc and Marty greened up and chatted. Doc also accidentally fried himself with the thinking cap. *blush* Sorry Dockie.
-D: What did I lose?-
A Body point.
-D: That's not so bad.-
Yeah, and hopefully I can green you up quick. I've also accidentally traded Marty's 10 Best Friends Want for a Sell a Masterpiece want. Even though 10 best friends would have given a great payout, I'm glad it's gone. I'm having trouble with the nine he has.
-M: 10 Best Friends does seem kinda out there. . . .-
If it comes up again, Gary's still in Marty's acquaintences list. An invite and some good interactions should pop him into friend/best friend status pretty quickly.
As for the other days -- Thursday Doc invited Gypsy over to lunch. George made them all chili con carne, and they had a nice conversation before Doc popped off to work. Marty also went out on the town with pal Kendal to satisfy a want. Friday George invited his friend Pascal over -- Pas brought Vidcund. While George boosted his friendship with Pas, Doc chatted up Vidcund. They actually got along pretty well, so if Doc ever wants/needs another friend. . . . Really, Friday was "Relationship Boost Day." Marty brought home River from school and chatted with him a bit. Doc called Gyspy and got their relationship up, then Marty called his friends J.C. Jones, Tina, and Kendal. He did good with J.C. and Tina, but Kendal was in a fighting mood or something. George also called his pal Holly. The tub also chose that time to break -- both George and Marty were able to bathe in it before it was fixed. Early Saturday morning, Marty snuck out with Tina, finally poking his aspiration into the gold. He's a hard Sim to play now, as almost all of his aspirations are "Go Out/Sneak out with Name." And then Saturday, I had gelatin on hand to eat, and we did the wedding. :)

Date: 2004-11-22 08:27 pm (UTC)Interesting observation your George seems to have brown hair, is that just the lighting? Because I thought it was black?
Anyway, love the pictures and great work on getting it to be a roof-raiser, the last party I threw got up to Not Bad and the one before that sucked. :O)
Did Lorraine move in with George, or did she move in with him?
Oh, and how's Hill Valley going? Has William met his wife-to-be yet?
Re: Hooray! Hooray!
Date: 2004-11-23 07:43 am (UTC)George's hair does look brown in those pictures. I think I did make him a brunette. ^^; Oops. Aw well.
Lorraine moved in with Georgie. They may or may not be getting their own place now that they're a couple. We'll have to wait and see.
No romance with Will yet, but I'll keep working on it. :)
