Seriously -- I didn't end up going outside for my planned walk because it was still 87 or so degrees F around 5:30 in the afternoon! And it's still pretty damn warm out. It was supposed to only be in the 70s tomorrow, but I'm starting to wonder if that'll really be the case. O.o Hopefully it won't be too much of a chore to get to sleep. . .I mean, I got my ceiling fan on, but that only does so much. . .

Besides the heat, though, it was a pretty nice Sunday:

-->Watched my Kubz Scouts/Gloom riddle videos -- more crime-based ones on Jay's side, supernatural/aliens-themed riddles on Gloom's. Fun stuff, especially when they stumble into the right answer for the wrong reason (for example, guessing someone was a fake vampire for having gray hair since vampires don't age; the reason given by the video was that she had a shadow while the others didn't). Their banter is great too -- I always like it when there's a genuine friendship thing going on between YouTubers on each other's channels. (Like James and Deli!)

-->Watched Jane and Andy take on the Undying again in the Sean Bean Elusive Target repeat (seriously, why have it be the same mission? Would have been cool if they could have brought him back in another map. . .). Jane had the ballistics robot do her dirty work for her and fed it a picture of Mark Faba (Sean's character) so it would shoot him when it saw his face. Andy decided to do a sniper kill on him instead. . .which turned into a comedy of errors. FIRST, he couldn't get into the area where he needed to set up his sniping, because it was locked and he didn't have the key nor a lockpick (most of the other doors in this level are keycard-based, so he brought a scrambler instead). So he stashed his briefcase with the sniper rifle in a bathroom and went looking for a crowbar. THEN, after he found a crowbar, he went back to retrieve his briefcase -- only to find it missing. Turns out the NPC who was in the bathroom when they stashed it apparently reported it, and security came to pick it up and put it in their office. This was AFTER a long conversation by Andy and Jane about how Hitman NPCs don't actually do that because they're less suspicious than people would be in real life. XD THEN Andy choked out a guy for his disguise to go GET the briefcase again, only he was spotted, and only some quick feet, knocking out a med-tech for HIS clothes, and hastily hiding in a cupboard saved him from some real damage. He eventually got his briefcase via knocking out an actual security guard and finally got into the announcer's booth (this is set at a Miami race track) to set up a sniper kill! Which then proceeded to take ages because of course it did. XD He DID succeed in the end, but he ended up with a lower score than Jane, which is unexpected. Andy, you're off your game!

-->Played some Fallout 4 -- the raid on the assembly plant is not going as well as I would hope! Mostly because overeager Dogmeat keeps getting hurt and I feel guilty every time I have to stimpack him. (Also annoyed, because his wiggles make it hard to actually activate the prompt! But then again, controls in this game are rather fiddly. . .) Also there are a lot of raiders on high bits of scenery, and they're hard to shoot. . .fortunately I DO have a sniper rifle, and I'm finally getting the hang of actually AIMING in this game, so I'm doing better at killing people. My Power Armor is almost out of juice, though, and I'm not entirely sure I have more batteries for it, so I might have to do the rest of this mission via some nervous sneaking. (Also, apparently you can stealth in power armor. I am not sure how, but then again I'm not great at stealth anyway.) I HAVE managed to kill a good number of the raiders, though. (Especially once I learned how to throw explosives -- the game does NOT make it easy! Seriously, better explanations for the controls, guys! Ugh. . .) Still need to take out head raider Jared, and whoever else might be left in the plant, but I'm hoping I'm pretty close to being done. Looking forward to turning in this quest and getting on with the main plot!

-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- getting back into the groove as my period finally fucks off. Gordon's had an unpleasant family reunion with Buford, and is in the middle of saying "fuck my life," essentially. XD And of course now I have to introduce another character who's going to make his life even worse -- even if he doesn't really know it yet. Always fun to write Tannens in all their grimy awfulness. XD Especially Tannens who don't even like each other. Hehehehe, personality clashes are fuuuun XD

-->Watched the OXBox livestream where Mike, back from his vacation, got his chance to retake The Undying in Hitman 2! The result was a HILARIOUS BLOODBATH. Mostly because Mike started out in the clown outfit and refused to take it off. And started killing security guards pretty early in the level. XD And THEN he got his hands on the battle axe that is, for some reason, in the gym. . . By the time he axed Sean Bean and exited the level, the security station area was FULL of body bags. Jane and Andy were trying to guilt him into killing fewer goons by giving them backstories (one was expected home for his kid's birthday party; another two were boyfriend and girlfriend on the verge of proposing to each other), but Mike was unmoved. Once a slaughter clown, always a slaughter clown. XD

To be fair, though, when the controls were passed to Andy, he didn't do much better on his chosen feat -- completing some challenges for the tutorial level of the game. One of which was pacify someone with the aquarium (which they interpreted to mean shooting it out when someone was near and letting the water sweep them away). THREE TIMES Andy tried that, and three times he failed. He had more luck at a challenge where you had to kill people with shuriken or a katana (both available in the secret weapons room of the tutorial house), although he did resort to knocking almost everyone in the level out first, then throwing shuriken into their heads. XD Seriously, for all his reputation as the "meticulous planning" guy, he can be as chaotic as Mike when he wants to be. XD

-->Also Mom made brownies so I got to have a brownie with ice cream tonight, which was definitely a nice treat on such a warm night. Whew!

And lo, we are almost upon the final day of my long break! Yay Memorial Day. . . Plan is to focus on Sims stuff tomorrow -- get my pictures sorted for the Wednesday update, watch Deli build more of her orphanage, catch up with my subscriptions, and hopefully get started with the McFlys for their week in my own game! And then two days of work, then ANOTHER day off -- admittedly, I have a dentist appointment that day, but at least I also get to play video games once that's over with. Yay. For now, though, I have some comments that still need answering -- night all!
