A Bit Rushed Tonight

crossover_chickMostly thanks a combination of me going through SrslySims's site looking at their mods and CC (it's more than just the Cooking Overhaul -- they have potion bottles, and an alchemist's stove, and a steampunk set. . .) and my computer having a worrying slow moment while I was finishing up my Newcrest Adventures queue for tomorrow (not sure WHAT happened, but it seems to be okay now). So, the highlights, as quick as I can make them:
-->Somewhat better day at work -- my other coworker was back, so some of the stress was off me, and I managed to get some stuff I couldn't fix yesterday sorted, so that was good. Pretty productive day overall!
-->Weather's definitely taken a turn for the extremely summery again -- got up to the low 90s as I was leaving work, and slowly getting muggier. Got the air conditioner running again -- gotta stay cool if I wanna sleep!
-->Got a very decent-sized chunk done on the next bit of "Secundus 2" -- new chapter, and the gang is back in Doc's blacksmith shop, looking at his homemade "portable telephonics" (aka walkie-talkies) and chatting about Marty's upcoming wedding. Clara will be arriving in the next bit so she and Doc can have more cute moments together. :p I like writing this relationship in this world -- especially now that I have the comics backing me up that Clara is an adventure nut and a big old nerd. XD Using that to my full advantage!
-->Watched a bunch of Sims videos tonight -- Deli doing a build challenge with her best friend Em, where they built a house while swapping every 7 1/2 minutes (turned into a rather nice little modern house with an upstairs living room! Though there were clashes over color and furnishings. . .); a comparison of Sims 3 and Sims 4 mermaids (the latter have more customization options and such, but the former got an underwater area, soooo. . .why couldn't we have a secret underwater lot, EAxis? Would have been fun. :( ); and Fantayzia's top 10 mods that she always uses (she's still promoting the hell out of "Slice of Life," and showed me some options on MC Command Center I'd never really looked at before -- you can make Sims poly with it! O.O Also, Road To Fame is surprisingly well-done and I wish more of its options were in the actual Get Famous pack.)
-->Got my Newcrest Adventures queue and Valice Multiverse queue sorted despite the hiccups noted in the first paragraph (seriously, must not go searching for Sims mods when I have queues to do. . .that being said, I should make a list of the stuff I want most of all and see if any of it conflicts).
That just leaves a few things in my inbox, which I'm sorting out now -- and then, bed, which is good as I'm REALLY tired tonight. Not sure why, just sort of came on. . .and now I'm thinking I should look back and remind myself when the red curse came last month. Though this feels early for that. . . I dunno. Night all!
