Sorry, suffering a bit of brain melt -- a combination of it coming up on midnight, it being the second day of my period, and going into a friend's fanfic to leave a review on the first chapter and binge-reading a bunch of it, throwing my entire evening askew. This is why I'm a little reluctant sometimes to start fanfics -- I can get sucked in REALLY FREAKING QUICK. Lost almost an hour to something that wasn't even a PROPER READ, damn. . .

Anyway. Let me see if I can give you the day in bullet points:

-->Had a reasonably quiet day at work -- did the GL, took some returns, forwarded some e-mails. Nothing particularly horrifying, which I appreciated. Also got in a lunch walk and had an Italian Ice from the freezer, so that was nice.

-->Came home and did my room cleaning -- took about an hour and a half, all told. Still have to dust my shelves right above the bed and my fan (which I WILL remember to turn off FIRST this time), but that goes with changing my sheets, sooo. . .tomorrow!

-->Played some Fallout 4 -- cleared the National Guard Training Yard of ghouls (which was rough, especially since I was HEAVILY irradiated and there was one REALLY NASTY "Glowing One" ghoul who kept killing me until I finally managed to fight it while keeping my distance), and found another Brotherhood of Steel Knight with a holotape for me to listen to. Checked out both at a terminal and discovered that they were apparently trying to keep safe a set of power armor, and that there's something interesting about the Satellite Array nearby. I've turned in the ghoul quest to the people of County Crossing (who were grateful), did some looting to build them a defense turret (I try to take care of my settlements!), and then went to check it out.

Aaaand almost immediately backed off, because the place is swarming with Super Mutants, it looks like. Hmmm. I think I'll save that fight for another day. ^^; Honestly, today was just more proof that you can't put me in an open world game with a billion sidequests -- I will NEVER find my way back to the main plot in a million years. One day I will actually get to Diamond City and look for Shaun!

-->Edited the final chapter of "A Wedding, A Wedding" -- which is a bit more of an epilogue, as it's about Victor and Alice getting a third wedding reception from the residents of their mental worlds. But it's still very cute, and I like the idea of Alice's Wonderlanders and Victor's Otherlanders banding together to celebrate the wedding. :) Just need to come up with a good title for the chapter. . .

-->Had kind of a Kubz Scouts night for videos: started off with a video from Yandere Dev about Ayano now being able to join the delinquents -- how it came about, what the criteria is, benefits and drawbacks, all of that. That led into Jay's latest Yandere Simulator video, which naturally had him joining the delinquents -- showing off all the steps and the task each member has for you. It was a fun little ride! And finally I wrapped up with another 60 Seconds Reatomized video -- Jay has finally managed to get his beloved car ending! After one false start on a playthrough gone bad where he didn't have enough soup to fuel the damn thing. But he played it smart, stocked up on subsequent playthroughs, and finally got the scenario again, leading to most of the family (sans Ted, who died at the last minute) driving off into the sunset. With a cheery little ice cream tune. XD So that was fun.

Aaand THAT'S where I wandered onto the fanfic. Rest of the night's been kind of a scramble to catch up with stuff and get back to where I ought to be. Did the webcomic run, answered a few comments in the inbox, now have to get the Valice Multiverse queue set up and see what I can do about the Friday Night Writing Thing. *sigh* I should really just buy a timer for my desk and set it every time I think I'm going to get distracted with something. . . Night all!
