Well, it was more "we constantly go back and forth on what we're allowed to do in the office," but eventually we determined what's okay for us and what needs to be sent to the credit card people. Though we're having a follow-up call Thursday of next week, JUUUUST to be safe. XD We'll get this all to work somehow!

Fortunately, the rest of the work day was quiet -- and cool! It only got up to the mid-70s today, and right now it's dropping through the 60s. Fall weather is coming on with a vengeance. I -- sort of enjoy it? It could be a LITTLE warmer -- I generally like it when it hovers around the high 70s, low 80s -- but this is good for sleeping without needing to use my AC. Fall and spring are kind of my times of year -- when it's nice enough to wear T-shirts and light pants/shorts and you can just keep your windows open. The main reason I prefer spring is because it's getting light out longer then, and everything's blooming. Fall has pretty colors (the sunset tonight was beautiful), but I can't escape the fact that it's leading into winter. . . *sigh*

Okay, let's not start thinking of hell-snows before they happen. My evening:

-->Got in another walk outside, natch -- gotta take advantage of it while I can! This month is pretty much the last where it stays light out long enough for me to actually go around the neighborhood after work. After this, I can probably still take lunchtime walks for a while, but. . .yeah. Hopefully we won't have another super-rainy fall!

-->Wrote another chunk of "Secundus 2" -- things are in motion. By which I mean Gordon just got taken down in one smooth move by pregnant Alice and is basically just telling everyone everything because she's got a knife to his throat. Just got to the reveal to the characters that Barkis Bittern is back and behind all of this, which -- nobody is going to take well. Can you blame them?

-->Watched James's latest Sims 4 video -- a building sort-of challenge where he went back to the Brindleton Bay lot with the tree (where Kat lived in "Wags To Riches") and decided to do another build there that involved making a house with a tree in an inconvenient spot. I say a tree as he actually changed what kind of tree it was for this build. He also DID move it, but only slightly so he could center it a bit better in the room. As he was probably actively making his build harder at that point, I'll allow it. XD At any rate, he created a very nice earth-toned house with three bedrooms and some lovely little courtyard areas. And a big hill out the back. And of course the tree, enclosed in its own little octagon in the middle. XD And, hilariously, THIS was the video where he finally mentioned the stairs update -- by saying that he was building this BEFORE said update went live (today, actually) and that having L-Shaped stairs like the update would provide would be VERY CONVENIENT. XD Well, you're the one who wanted to build before your game got patched, James! :p

-->Also watched Linkara's latest Atop The Fourth Wall -- the next five episodes of the first part of the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" anime! Which has some squicky parts (like playing with people's arteries while you have your fingers mystically stuck inside their neck *shudder*), but also a lot of cool action sequences and heartfelt moments. Not quite the anime for me, I think, because of said squicky bits, but it made for a fun review. Something good for Linkara before he has to dive back into the shit. (Namely, Trouble, the very weird romance-comic/Spider-Man prequel. This'll be fun.)

-->And caught up on two OXBox/OXtra videos -- cute Pokemon who could ruin the world with merely a thought (or, rather, with one of flavor-text-mentioned abilities, which just proves Pokemon writers have no sense of scale); and achievements you get for literally doing nothing for a set amount of time (such as refusing to solve one of Wheatley's early tests in Portal 2, or sitting with a friend in Journey). Always nice to see the team and their listicles in action. :p

Okay, time to finish up the RPing side of my night -- almost got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted, and just have a couple of comments in the inbox. Tomorrow, last day of work! And then -- uh, probably staying at home Saturday because it seems like it's supposed to rain both here AND at Canobie. Instead we're working out the best way to make the trip work on Sunday, which will be 70 and sunny by current forecasts. Was kind of hoping to do Saturday so I'd have Sunday to chill afterwards, but if it's gonna rain. . . I just hope we can manage it in general, really. Would be nice to go back to the park for one last summer hurrah. (We, uh, technically have another trip planned a couple of weeks out, but that's a corn maze, so I think that's a fall hurrah. :p) Keep your fingers crossed! Night all!
