Ran into some NASTY-heavy pockets of the stuff both in the morning and evening -- plus a slow-going school bus on the highway going home. I mean, yes, I get that a school bus is going to want to be even more careful than your average vehicle, but damn, they could have been going a BIT faster! Ugh. . . Hopefully tomorrow will be better on that front. There's nothing like bad traffic to throw off your day.

At least work wasn't too bad -- not too much happening while I was out. Or while I was in, honestly -- a couple of phone calls, some reversals to make, but nothing too horrible. Enough to make the day go by, not enough to stress me out overmuch. I'm good with that. Now we'll see how the rest of the week goes. . .

Evening was pretty nice -- good supper, and a nice walk around the block since the heat and humidity have gone waaaay down. Rest of the week is looking like mid-to-high 70s in the day, 50s at night -- basically perfect weather. I will take it as long as it lasts!

In terms of things I did:

-->Got another page or so done on "Secundus 2" -- Doc and Marty have responded to the mayor saying he's banning them from the town with "so we were leaving anyway," and Jennifer and Clara have just made it pretty clear they are coming with their boys. Clara has, in fact, more or less proposed to Doc. XD The mayor is -- not taking this well, as you might imagine. Fortunately we won't have to listen to him bitch for long. XD

-->Watched two OXBox/OXTra videos -- one about video game enemies you murderlated from the inside-out (mostly because they'd swallowed you alive in the name of gross boss battles); the other about video game re-releases that took the opportunity to fix (or at least try to fix) things people hated about the original game (like redesigning the Water Temple in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or making some painful boss fights easier to complete in Deus Ex: Human Revolution). Interesting (and gross) stuff!

-->Watched Plumbella do a "complete history of" Glimmerbrook and the Magic Realm from the Realm of Magic pack, which basically consisted of her going through all the families and sages and letting us know their traits and relationships. Some nice info on who knows what and what the family dramas are supposed to be. . .and some more shade thrown on how small the world is. (Seriously, five lots? For both this and Forgotten Hollow? I mean, they have more reason to exist than Magnolia Promenade, but COME ON.)

-->Watched Kevin play some more Sims 4 -- namely, having Jim Pickens kill the Charm family so he can steal their house. XD The in-game specials proved insufficiently lethal for his liking, so he ended up getting a mod to help kill them. Though he left the matriarch alive! ...After deaging her to a toddler and dumping her on L. Faba, Sage of Mischief. XD And then Kevin made a self-Sim to move in with them, only to have himself run over by a car (a joke on the fact he WAS run over by a car in real life -- don't worry, he's recovering!). XD A solid Call Me Kevin episode, is what I'm saying.

-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done, and part of my VictorLuvsAlice one -- my Wednesday posts are sorted, and I've got some stuff set up for Thursday, so. . .keeping a bit ahead of the game!

And now I have to finish clearing out the comments in my inbox and head to bed. Took me a while to get to sleep last night, both because I was used to going to bed later and because we had a wicked thunderstorm around one in the morning, sooo. . .hopefully I'll have better luck tonight. G'night all!
