crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
Little fires to try and put out here and there, working on little projects to pass the time in dead spots. . .nothing really out of the ordinary with work. Suppose that's a good thing. . .hell, I even got in a walk at lunch, since it wasn't raining then! A kind of bleary and chilly walk, but what can one do. . .tomorrow's supposed to be even worse, weather-wise. Getting into the truly dreary part of the year, I fear. :( But what can you do -- it's October. I guess I'll just hope it doesn't pour on Halloween. . .

Anyway, evening consisted of:

-->An exercise video (classic this time, but I'm glad I'm keeping up with these)

-->Chicken noodle soup with rolls (om nom nom)

-->Working some more on my "Londerland Bloodlines" pre-game timeline (have completed how Corpse Bride went down in this verse, though I may be adjusting some of the dates after I get Alice's stuff sorted)

-->Watching someone make an 1840s-inspired "Masque of the Red Death" gown, as linked to me the other night by a friend (I have a new respect for people who sew clothes, because DAMN the amount of time that dress must have taken. . .)

-->Watching James Turner play a bit of the (now closed) beta for Planet Zoo (he's come a long way since his stream days, which resulted in quite a bit of hippo death, apparently. Now he's building Grizzly Bear enclosures where the animals are happy and enriched and people can actually come over the top of the habitat on a viewing platform to see them. :D It's all very cool, I gotta say -- wouldn't mind him doing a full LP of a custom zoo once it comes out properly!)

-->Watching GrayStillPlays make a mess of the world again in Headliner (the prequel to a similar game he played before? Sequel? Basically you play a news editor who determines what articles show up in the paper, and see how the world reacts to them; Gray of course caused total chaos by being a jackass and ended up getting his character killed. XD Also, the game designers are Bloodlines fans -- Gary Golden, Jeanette Voerman, and Nines Rodriguez show up in one of the early articles! That was a nice Easter Egg)

-->Getting my Valice Multiverse and Victor Luvs Alice queues sorted (all anons for Valice Multiverse, all Sims for Victor Luvs Alice -- latest Newcrest Adventures post is set, at least. Also answered that person who did the comic from the other day as they explained some of their ideas and process. Nice to have a bit of insight into it!)

And now, with all that completed, I should head to bed. Still got some stuff to answer in my inbox, but it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow. . .need my sleep and all that. We'll see how tomorrow goes! Night all!
