More Problems Wednesday

crossover_chickAt work, anyway -- I was trying to get some stuff done, but got informed of things going wrong with the online stuff again, and -- ugh. So tired of worrying that if we do something on our end, it won't get done correctly on the other end. I just want things to work, ya know? I mean, I get that everyone involved here is human, buuut we seem to have certain problems pop up again and again and again. . . *sigh* Well, on the plus side, we may be getting more frequent reports on when certain things fail, and that should help out with stuff like informing people of expiring cards and suchlike. Hooray having a plan for that sort of thing!
Anyway, kind of a dull and dreary day overall -- lots and lots of rain, and it never got out of the 50s. October weather, everyone! At least I had no big plans for the evening. . .though I did skip my exercise video. Didn't mean to, but -- usual "got distracted by something else online" thing. Have to make up for it tomorrow. Exercise is a good thing!
I did, however:
-->Get my "before the game" timeline done for "Londerland Bloodlines!" I ended up moving the altered Corpse Bride stuff to later in the year, just so it didn't feel like Victor was waiting around for months being the village sort-of pariah before deciding to move to Los Angeles. (Uh, Galswells ends up calling him a "damned soul" again, the way I've currently got things. . .and this AFTER Victor and his new dead friends probably save his life!) I'm pretty happy with how things turned out, and how I set up certain events. Nothing's set in stone, of course -- I'll adjust things if I come up with better ideas later on -- but this will keep me going for rough draft purposes! So, tomorrow, finally back to the fic itself, yay~
-->Do a fun little Call Me Kevin marathon:
A) Kevin disappoints his Chinese Parents, mostly by being too focused on learning how to roll over and play the piano to do anything else (also by being an "unbaked minion," in his own words -- the sprite for the baby was WEIRD)
B) Kevin is a colonial dictator in Tropico 6 -- only he doesn't keep the job because he doesn't export enough sugar and rum to the Crown backing him, being too busy directing pirates to steal the Brandenburg Gate. (Yes, that is a thing you can do in this game.) A brief run in a more modern era of history results in the destruction of many shanty towns and a burning army base -- yay! XD
C) Kevin is Agent 47, on assignment in the Maldives! Yes, his turn to play the latest Hitman 2 level -- and of course, he causes arguably more chaos than Mike. :D He did kill everyone EVENTUALLY, it just -- took a lot of jury-rigging. And a lot of shooting. And a lot of fumbling around and dropping people through trap doors. XD Ahhh, delightful. . .
D) Kevin is a horrible goose :D And, to my delight, he finished up Untitled Goose Game and I got to see the goose complete their final objective -- destroy the model village and steal its shiny bell! And then take it aaaall the way home. XD The only reason I'm not playing this game is because it's an Epic Store exclusive at the moment, and I've heard Bad Things about that. It's supposed to come to Steam next year, though -- probably pick it up then!
-->Also got in another episode of GrayStillPlays Headliner -- this time, he went for a pro-not-modifying yourself angle, and while he didn't cause uncontrolled riots in the street, he did get a celebrity killed! Also his wife lost her job and his daughter was arrested for vandalism -- but he became the voice of his nation! So probably better than the run where he ended up kicked to death.

-->And got my Victor Luvs Alice queue done for a couple of days, and dropped a bunch more stuff from the CB tag in my drafts (this is the time of year where I can pick up so many things to reblog later, it's great)
And now I have to go answer some comments and hit the sheets. Inching closer and closer to that weekend! Night all!
