AKA I keep getting caught up in reading things and then having to mentally smack myself back into productivity. ^^; This happens sometimes -- it's just annoying when it's either a) on my lunch break at work or b) on a work night when I'm supposed to be queuing things. *shakes finger at brain* You'll have time this weekend to do that! Preferably with that friend's fanfic I'm supposed to be reviewing. . .

Anyway! As I'm still doing a bit of queuing and suchlike thanks to the above, a quick breakdown of my day:

-->Work was pretty quiet -- a few phone calls and e-mails, but otherwise I was mostly working on clearing out the obituaries. *shrug* Someone's gotta make sure we know who's dead!

-->Got another chunk done on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- LaCroix's getting ready to dump his new fledgling problem in Santa Monica, and Alice has just had to prove to him via her passport that yes, her real name is Alice Liddell. XD This is mostly because, thanks to the time period, Alice can in no way be the Alice who actually inspired the books, so I've decided she simply has the same name and -- fortunately for her parents -- thoroughly embraced the idea that she was the "next Alice" and adopted all the Wonderland characters as her own. (Still deciding if she's actually related to the original Alice or not -- original Alice DID have brothers. . .)

-->Had a bit of a Plumbella marathon:

A) Plumbella showing off more cool builds, this time with an English theme -- some nice townhouses and an 70s build, an AWESOME "English Mystery" lot with a pub and a secret murder scene, someone's take on Parliament, and a "best of London" build that just blew Jessie away. :D It was all very awesome, and I particularly want to add the "English Mystery" to my library. And her next suggested build for everyone is "family fun" -- theme parks and such. So I'm quite looking forward to that! :D

B) Plumbella going over the history of Agnes Crumplebottom, everyone's favorite lady who hits people with their purse. Actually seeing her backstory in Sims 3 (her husband passing RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM RENOVATING THEIR NURSERY) is pretty tragic! Makes you miss when they actively set up little pre-made stories like that in the game. . .

C) Speaking of which, Plumbella also recently fired up the Sims 2 and went on a mini-rant about why it's the best Sims game. Which -- girl, I pretty much agree. :D She touched on all the stuff I miss most about the game (Wants AND Fears, neighborhood creation and decorating, a proper memory system. . .) -- and she's thinking about doing a fun little "Let's Play" where she goes through both Sims 1 and Sims 2 and slowly adds expansion packs. No storylines, just messing around with the games themselves. I'm here for it! :D Especially since I think James's Sims 2 LP is dead in the water. . .

-->Also watched Call Me Kevin take on the alpha to Postal 4: No Regerts (not a typo). It's a -- very strange and buggy game. XD Kevin had fun though, especially when he was allowed to be a prison guard and shoot prisoners. His favorite hobby! XD

-->And that brings us to "I'm still getting everything in my queues sorted and everything in my inbox answered" XD Like I said, got caught up reading stuff. At least tomorrow's Friday, and then I've got the weekend! Admittedly, I'll be spending part of that weekend getting my costume and decorating for Halloween, but still. :p Night all!
