crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

As in, 2019's October 25th, 26th, and 27th lines up with 1985's! :D Always nice when that happens. I just queued up my Song Saturday line-up for Victor Luvs Alice, and I made sure to include the BTTF Theme Song video by Goldentusk. Whole new group of people who are going to have lyrics suddenly stuck in their head when they hear the BTTF theme. Plus Flyleaf's "What's This" cover, because I love it and I've decided I'm going to reblog it every year. :p

Anyway, it was a somewhat more stressful Friday than I would have liked -- no MAJOR fires, just a lot of demands on my time. You know how it is -- people everywhere asking you for something and suchlike. Kinda ground on my nerves as the day went on. *sigh* Then Dad was grumpy around dinnertime about Amazon's algorithms acting stupid regarding his books. . .he's calmed down now, but it was a bit touch-and-go for a minute. Have I mentioned I feel like a sponge for stress sometimes?

Fortunately, most of my evening was good:

-->Got in a new exercise video on top of my lunchtime walk (and a walk down to Dunkin Donuts as part of a meeting with the team, but that doesn't really count)

-->Wrote another page on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has just learned about the Sabbat, and watched the Sheriff just WRECK the three who dared go up against him. This is leading to a non-canon conversation where Alice learns about her Disciplines, because she does not have handy game pop-ups to guide her and I don't recall Jack ever actually touching on the topic. As I may have mentioned before, Obfuscate is going to be her favorite. More invisibility, damn it!

-->Tonight's video watching has consisted of:

A) A short from the Moody Institute of Science about water and why it's called H20. The science experiment was actually kind of neat (showing how electricity can change water into its two component gasses), though the riffing did make it a lot more fun. XD

B) Call Me Kevin taking on the first episode of Song of Horror properly! . . .Killing most of his player characters along the way! XD Seriously, it was a fun if slightly unnerving watch. Kevin fumbling his way through the puzzles and trying his best to keep the evil in the house from getting the characters was great, and the game itself is a very solid horror title. Kinda wish I'd watched it while my Dad was still in the house, instead of off visiting Mom on her lunch break, but. . . ^^; At least I have an excuse to stay up late tonight?

C) Gray Still Plays playing a very silly game, Customer Loyalty, where you are a hapless retail drone at the returns desk, tasked with seeing if customers can return their items before their patience runs out. Also, your manager is a terrifying bro. Also also the assets in the game are hilariously awful. Gray made a joke about a customer trying to return condoms and A BOX OF SAME TURNED OUT TO BE THE TUTORIAL RETURN. XD It was kind of terrible, but Gray clearly had a lot of fun with it.

D) Gray Still Plays ANOTHER very silly game, Serial Dating, where a lonely woman sells her soul to the Devil to participate in a speed-dating thing -- but if she ends up dating a serial killer, she goes straight to Hell. The Devil at least gives her a sporting chance by letting her listen to the secret thoughts of her potential dates, and a free psychic look at what they're carrying (if she can solve a dot-pressing puzzle). The dates are -- something else, even the "normal" ones, and it's just an all-around goofy little title. Again, Gray had a LOT of fun with it. XD

-->And I just finished up the final bits of both my Victor Luvs Alice and Valice Multiverse queues today -- just have to take care of what's waiting in the inbox, then it's over to the Friday Night Writing thing. Tomorrow -- room cleaning, Bloodlines, Outstar videos on Bloodlines 2, and at least some of the Hitman videos I have saved. (Either all the shorter ones, or the Halloween livestream!) Plus that one extra BTTF video I want to watch. . . Night all!
