Super Rainy Monday

crossover_chickI mean, I expected that, it was what they were saying on the weather all week, but still. It was -- is! -- wet out there! At least it's also reasonably warm, meaning pretty much all the snow has melted! . . .just in time for the temperature to plummet again on Wednesday and give us more ice and snow. *grumbles* And then Saturday it gets warmish again, but MORE RAIN. . .this is not a great start to December, is what I'm saying.
Beyond the weather, not too bad a day at work -- pretty quiet, for the most part. One of my coworkers who's been out sick came back today, but had to go home again as her asthma was still playing up. We did get the office decorated for Christmas all together, though. So that was nice. I mainly did obituaries and more problem-solving stuff again, which was fine. Pretty typical a Monday, honestly. Ride home was a bit shit (took me fifteen minutes to get through three traffic lights), BUUUT I didn't have to cut through the city, so that made a huge difference. I'll take a slow ride home on the highway over cutting through city traffic!
Made it home in one piece, and these have been the accomplishments of the evening:

-->Another gift fic written! Yeah, I switched back to those today (turns out I still have two pages to edit on "Secundus 2," so might as well do the back and forth thing), and I got an idea of what to do for my FF.net friend DarkCountess, so I whipped up that one today. :) Making progress!
-->GrayStillPlays marathon! Which -- wasn't intended, but I ended up following a couple of his videos down a rabbit hole out of my Watch Later queue. XD It turned into a sort of "video game maker games" thing, with City Game Studio (with Gray making weird erotic games for all ages in the 70s -- and making mad bank off "Touch It Slower" too XD); two episodes of Mad Game Tycoon (where the "We Have No Morals" company, headed by Lucas StrongChicken, made various simulators until Gray was able to tap the lucrative MMO market -- they didn't have quite as much success at first, getting "Worst Game Of The Year" for a few of their titles, but MAN did they make that money back with subscriptions! Also licensing various game engines and forcing the companies that used them for games to give them 50% of the profits); and one episode of Mobile Empire (which is actually about making mobile phones, not mobile games -- it also seems to be poorly localized, or at least made by a non-native English speaker, as a lot of the various dialogues are -- a bit awkward, to say the least. XD Gray conquered the market regardless, with such innovations like the Edible Phone and Wife Fixer). Good stuff -- and I still have two other ones waiting to be watched! Darn it, Gray. . . XD
-->Got my VictorLuvsAlice queue largely sorted -- the first two posts for my Newcrest Adventures update (Chell, Wheatley, Jess, and Erwin against the Mother Plant) are actually fully done, and I have the pictures and preliminary text sorted for the second two, yay~ I also have ideas for my Thursday and Friday posts, so double yay~ Just keeping on with the productivity train!
And I've already answered the comments in my inbox, plus paid off my credit card, so I am set for the night, w000~ Time to finish up my stuff online and get ready for another day at work! Hopefully it'll go smoothly. . . Night all!
