Much Calmer Tuesday

crossover_chickNo one trying to run me off the road (though, once again, we had some jerk get extra close to show they wanted to change lanes rather than putting their turn signal on when I was on my way home -- at least THEY waited for me to slow down), not too much happening at work (I chewed through a LOT of duplicates), tumblr queue posting like it SHOULD. . .yeah, I think today is a much better day than yesterday. *lets out a deep breath* And there were still brownies at work, so hooray!
Other accomplishments of the night:
-->Another page on "Secundus 2!" Victor explaining why he made the Grasshopper Teapot (he wanted to make a creature that could produce a brew to let humans leap as far as a grasshopper), and the imminent arrival of the mayor! Better hide that thing before you get in trouble, Victor! Additionally, I checked the remaining "Scenes From Secundus" prompts I have, and it looks like I'll be done posting those by mid-February. I'm sure everyone will be happy to hear that!
-->Another one of my CallMeKevin marathons! Today included:
A) The last episode of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! Janky straight until the end, complete with a Bargain Bin Hagrid (I guess the guy who played him didn't allow the studio to use his face) and an unnecessary chase sequence with Voldemort chasing Harry as a smoke cloud which poor Kevin failed so many times. XD At least now he is free. . .free to play lots of other horrible Harry Potter games! XD
B) Cooking Mama! The Wii version, which already upped the stakes, as Kevin's typical set up is NOT Wii friendly. XD He did his best, though, and managed to make quite a few vegetarian options for the discerning palate. Who wants steamed lettuce burgers, or hot dogs which are just masses of lettuce and tomato with "fuck you" written on them in mustard? He also managed to completely destroy popcorn because it was pot-cooked, not microwaved. Never let Kevin near a kitchen, is the takeaway I get from this one.
C) WarioWare Smooth Moves! Another Wii game -- this one with loads of wacky ways to manipulate the controller! (Did you know they have minigames where you apparently need to put the damn thing against your NOSE?) If you're not aware, WarioWare is basically tons of tiny minigames all combined into one large package. Kevin -- struggled a bit. XD I mean, I think he got most of the games he won by accident just flailing around. Hey, whatever works, Kevin! You probably still did better than I ever would!
D) And a non-gaming episode where Kevin shows off the r/Cringetopia subreddit, which is -- well. Probably in the name. Though I did get to see the adventures of "Indian Joker," this Indian kid with green hair who can pull off an appropriately creepy Joker-style smile. That was fun. :p
-->Also watched an IronSeagull video that popped up in my recommendeds about The Sims 4 Tiny Living Stuff -- apparently there's a livestream on it this Friday?? Huh, I didn't realize they did that with stuff packs. . . Also some talk about why bunk beds are not included, which -- I can understand why people who want them are annoyed, but I personally don't care, so. . . Would be nice to at least have the option, I guess!
-->Speaking of Sims 4, they had another user survey up, which I expected to be more of the same regarding "hey where do you get your Sims 4 news? You should really watch our livestreams" nonsense. . . And then it basically asked "oh hey would you like us to put some Sims 2-style stuff like Sims getting furious at each other, and Sims having what sounds like the attraction system from that game again?" and I was like, ". . .YES???" And there were more questions about what we would like to see fleshed out and improved, and -- I don't know how well they would IMPLEMENT any of this, but it is nice to see they're actually listening.

-->Got more on that headcanon meme for the Valice Multiverse (that I'm doing for Victor and Alice) that's taking me forever -- some of the questions are hard to answer just because I don't watch a lot of TV, or read a lot of books these days! But I've got more answers than not filled in now (one whole section is done, in fact!), so that's good. Maybe I can have it up by the weekend?
