Kind Of A Backie Day!
Jan. 21st, 2020 10:04 pmBeen meaning to catch this one for a while, and finally remembered today! Happy 1/21, aka 1.21 Jigowatts Day! XD Yeah, this is just silly, but I gotta keep up the Backie Pride somehow.
Anyway, this day may be lightly Backie, but it was really mostly busy -- starting with a TERRIBLE ride into work. Accident on the highway = a late Vicky who has to give up one of her breaks. *grumbles* And then there was trying to figure out some mysteries regarding payments at work, and more obituaries -- I'm trying to whittle down that pile, and clean up whatever duplicates and such I find along the way. It's a lot of work, but I guess it makes the day go by. At least the ride home went better!
This evening's been busy too -- mostly because I did my writing on "Secundus 2" (finished up the bit in the saloon, with the group successfully hiding the Grasshopper Teapot from the mayor; now we switch over to Gordon Tannen's POV for a moment so I can establish the villains of the piece) and then IMMEDIATELY transitioned into getting my five-part Newcrest Adventures update done, because -- well, I wanted to get it done! And get it done I did, hooray me. The queue shall live on tomorrow! And I've got what I want to do for both Thursday and Friday sorted, so that's good as well. . .just have to think up a second post for Saturday, and I should be golden. . .
After all that queuing, I went ahead and watched my video of the night -- James Turner makes a micro-house! Or, rather, a micro trailer, using debug items, Tiny Living Stuff, and Discover University (for the shower). It was pretty fascinating to watch him carefully line this floating block of 32 tiles up, and somehow fit in a double Murphy bed, a single regular bed in its own little bedroom, a kitchen, and a TINY 1X1 BATHROOM that REALLY took a lot of fiddling with move objects on. *shakehead* It's amazing what people can build, and it makes me feel cramped just LOOKING at it. XD I do plan on getting the pack at some point -- I like the objects in it -- but I don't think I'm ever really going to play with the main gameplay element. After my time being crammed into my old room at the old house (especially when we got my new big bed), I crave having at least SOME space. Our house now isn't huge, but I can wander around my room fairly freely and get privacy, and that's what I like.
And now I'm working on the Valice Multiverse queue (got some more done on that headcanon meme too, which is good), and going to get the comments in my inbox sorted. And then bed, as I still have the rest of the week to get through. Hopefully tomorrow I won't have such a terrible ride in. . . Night all!
