-->Managed NOT to wake up early and instead just sleep through til my "you gotta get up because we're going out bowling" alarm

-->Had a decent time bowling -- we got in five games, which was fine. I had one bad game (started and ended it with double gutter balls), three pretty decent ones, and one great game, where I finally broke a hundred by getting a lot of spares! Never beat Dad, but I did beat Mom in the last game! And I did get a couple of strikes, so that was nice. Finally getting more of a handle on how to line up the ball properly. . .

-->Played some Sims 4 -- sent Victor and Alice on a date to the local spa, because I really need to get them to fulfill that darn "Soulmates" aspiration under the Love category. They had a good time, though I discovered the game likes to put a lot of dumb accessories on them if they change into robes, so I kept having to change them back into their normal outfits (I couldn't figure out how to change the "robe" outfit). Victor got a hand massage, Alice got a foot massage, and then they both spent some time in the sauna. Was TEMPTED to have them woohoo in there, but there were other people, so I held off. :) On the kids' side, Emma is doing very well in school, and Eliza has finally maxed all her toddler skills! I was TEMPTED to do a birthday party for her that evening, but I decided that could wait for another day -- next play session, specifically. This allows me to properly plan out the party, AND gave Eliza a chance to use the toddler slide I bought a little while back. Alice did make a cake, though, along with a couple of plates of normal food so Emma can stop relying on quick meals like cereal. Darn uncomfortable moodlet. . . Annoyingly, though, aspirations seem to have glitched out so that stuff that Victor and Alice have definitely done are showing up as undone until they do something related to aspiration that makes the game update. *grumbles* I think this is just a temporary thing and will be resolved once I load up the game again, but still -- remember my progress, game!

-->Watched a couple of YouTube videos both before and after supper:

A) LGR's review of Tiny Living Stuff -- it's one of the few stuff packs that suits his style of gameplay a bit more, so he wasn't TOO down on it, but he still doesn't think it's great. He particularly didn't like the Murphy Bed, which he found failed way too often, leading to the animation of it failing just getting annoying -- not to mention the high mortality rate! I think that makes three Simmers I've watched who actively dislike the "star gameplay item" of the pack (LGR, Plumbella, and Carl -- James Turner doesn't seem to be against them, but it is worth noting he was genuinely shocked that his self-sim died the first time his Murphy Bed failed. . .). All of them would have preferred bunk beds and ladders. . .things to work on, Sims Team!

B) onlyabidaong listing off unusual but legit ways to make money in Sims 4 that don't require getting a job or building up certain skills. Some of them were familiar to me (painting slaves in the basement? Hello Jim Pickens, how are you?), while others were not (going on constant dates or throwing tons of parties to sell the gold-level rewards? using the "rummage for decorations" prompt on the decoration box to essentially get free stuff?). Interesting and potentially useful information. . .

C) Atop The 4th Wall reviews Megamind! Linkara watched the movie for a Patreon patron (who sent him EVERY DREAMWORKS MOVIE THEY COULD GET), and he thought it was -- pretty good, but not a masterpiece. Which was refreshing after seeing so many people on tumblr call it a masterpiece. :p It was a good review -- he pointed out both strengths and flaws the movie had, and his snark on the sillier aspects was great. :) And we're getting Rom, Space-Knight back this upcoming week, so that'll be fun. :)

D) Plumbella playing The Sims 2 . . .on the Playstation 2. It's -- interesting. :p Create a Sim actually creates a potential family tree for your Sim when you first randomize them, before you get to edit, which is a neat feature. And when it comes to clothing, you can actually DO LAYERS. Like, choose your Sim's top, sweater, and jacket all separately! And shorten any pair of pants at will! Can we get this in PC CAS please??? It's also a fair bit edgier than the regular game -- Plumbella decided to do all sorts of mean interactions with one of her roommates, and discovered you could actually give another Sim the finger. Which is -- something, let me tell you. XD She couldn't figure out how to get a job to get money to eat, though, so the session ended on a bit of a down note. I do hope she goes back to the game at some point -- I want to see more of it and its mid 2000s glory. XD

-->Managed to do another page on "Secundus 2," despite my computer having a problem and having to restart right before I was going to do my edits. *sigh* Made a backup once we were back up and running, that's for damn sure. But I got it done, with Gordon getting mugged by his own cousin and his gang -- only for said mugging to get interrupted. . . I'm actually only two pages away from finishing up this chapter's edits, so that's cool. :) Feels good to be at least somewhat ahead on all of this.

-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted and my DW comments answered, yay me~

And now I'm gonna get one last picture for my latest Newcrest Adventures update on Wednesday sorted, then hit the sack. Mom's birthday tomorrow -- at least I'm ready with my card and present! Plus work, but then there's going to be a lot of that in the near future. *sigh* Hopefully we won't have any major problems to deal with. . . Night all!

I had the dumb accessory thing happen when I sent my Sim to shower at the gym. Came out in a towel...and an astronaut helmet. :/
