Well, that's how it's mostly felt this evening -- getting to everything later than I meant to. I had a little of that this morning too, but it wasn't so bad then. . .I blame the car ride home taking longer than I'd hoped, then getting more distracted than usual with stuff (the puzzle we're currently working on, catching up with a video a friend wanted to show me, getting wrapped up in Valicey ideas) all evening. Come on, brain, I need you to focus a little more.

For all that, though, I can't say it's been a particularly bad day:

-->Work was acceptable, if with a few more phone calls than I would have liked. Tax-related stuff, mostly -- we're doing our best to keep on top of it. I also fell down some "trying to clean up duplicates" rabbit holes, but -- well, that's my job to do that sort of thing, sooo. . .

-->I got a good chunk done on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has gotten the cryptic "here's sort of the plot of the whole game" speech from Rosa, and is learning the backstories of the thin-bloods! . . .three of which I have to make up because I don't think it's ever canonically mentioned how Copper, Julius, and Rosa got turned. Welp, that's all right then, I already have some ideas. :p At any rate, Alice shall be picking up the "Thinned Blood" quest after this conversation, before heading over to the clinic to try and get drugs for Mercurio and running into Knox along the way. Very busy night for our young Kindred!

-->I watched two videos (plus the bits of the opening cutscene to Assassin's Creed: Syndicate that my friend wanted to show me):

A) More Planet Zoo from James Turner -- this time with India Jones, a character designer on the game! She helps makes the animals~ Together they designed a new habitat for the Nyala, a kind of African antelope that India said was a favorite because it has yellow "socks." They got a couple, built an enclosure, made the Nyala a cave out of floating rocks and a fuck-ton of plants, then built a weird elevated viewing platform with the weirdest support structure ever XD But the guests liked it, the animals liked it -- they were even able to fit in some more exhibit animals along the path! Snakes and scorpions, as those go well together XD They clearly had a fun time, and it was cool to see James hanging out with the people who actually made the game. :)

B) The latest Atop The 4th Wall, where Linkara reviewed a big old Hasbro crossover in the IDW comics! Transformers, Micronauts, M.A.S.K., GI Joe, ROM Space Knight, and Action Man all together in one six-issue miniseries!

. . .If you only recognized like two of those names, you are not alone! XD Yeah, the plot was a touch hard to follow, given I hadn't heard of most of these toys and obviously don't read a lot of comics. But the story itself was fun enough, with the various groups first fighting each other, then teaming up to save Earth from being wiped out by some sort of super-metal that was being exploded because the Micronauts were trying to transport it to their world to save it. . . .Look, I'm just here for cool fight scenes, ROM making a comeback, and Soundwave being surprisingly competent and awesome. :p Seemed to be all Linkara needed too, as he quite enjoyed the story, even if he thought it was a lot of action for only six issues (well, FIVE, really -- the first one was a recap issue).

-->I got a couple bits of my Victor Luvs Alice queue done -- at the very least, I'm set through tomorrow, so yay. Better yet, I've actually got posts lined up for next week too, so if I can just get those in the drafts tomorrow. . .

Well, that's for a day when I might actually have something resembling proper time management. For now, it's time to answer what remains in my inbox and try to get to bed at a decent time. Really do need my sleep. Two more days to go! Night all!
