Much Better Sunday

crossover_chickAnd not just because there were no accidents -- it was just a calmer, more relaxing day overall. Which is great, because I needed that after getting so frustrated at stuff yesterday. One of the big things that I think contributed to that? My parents leaving for a couple of hours to go out antiquing again (didn't find anything) -- and telling me NOT to wait on them for lunch. Which means I didn't feel the same need to wait around on them before starting any videos, and thus I was able to knock out some of the GrayStillPlays from my Watch Later and eat before 2 PM! :D (I mean, I still ate at 1:30, but -- counts!)
Anyway, accomplishments of the day:
-->As stated, knocked four videos from GrayStillPlays out of the Watch Later queue, w000! We had:
A) More terrible prayers in Prayr (the AI came back asking to destroy things again, and three women wanting babies -- the first one Gray approved, and she ended up with a child and an STD; the second one Gray denied, and she ended up with just an STD; and the third one Gray approved and the lady in question conceived Florida Jesus XD)
B) A mile-long 100-story hell-tower full of bars in Mad Tower Tycoon (Gray wanted to see if he could fit a 1,000 bars into the building, little knowing he was setting himself up for another round of "the game can't take this much BUILDING" FPS torture XD He DID actually succeed, plus turned the entire top level into chapels -- though I don't know if all of them got up and running before the building was shut down for being a biohazard due to all the piled-up trash XD)
C) A round or two as Snow White in New Life (or, I should really say, "Milk" White, as that's what the game called her in its "Snow White Story" mode XD Also, the evil step mother is an EVIL PORN STAR in this world. Gray did his best to be an evil bastard, and managed to melt the wicked stepmother in one ending (because apparently witches in Snow White work the same as the ones in Oz), poison one of the dwarfs via lethal apple cake (and then harnessed dark powers to get him back), and become the loneliest woman in the world after rejecting the spirit of the mirror's proposal after he became a man. Typical Gray stuff, is what I'm saying)
D) Trying to pass terrible laws in Novoslavia (I say "trying" because a) the game is actually just a demo, so you only have two days to start passing laws; b) it is VERY EASY to die or be fired, as Gray found out after upsetting the people too much on his first day of work and getting promptly assassinated. XD And then getting fired when he went the other way and pissed off his party. He eventually found a happy medium that left him with a job and immigrants getting deported! Yaaaay~)
-->I also caught up on my subscriptions:
A) The latest Fun With Shorts, all about surviving Junior High! It boiled down to "accept that there are going to be people better than you and be more responsible you n00b." XD
B) James Turner's latest tiny home, an A-Frame that takes advantage of the fact roofing doesn't actually count toward tile limitations to get some bay windows and a loft into the tiny house! Turned out very sweet, with a whole bedroom and office upstairs, and a gorgeous front garden full of plants downstairs. I am again amazed at how well people build in this game. :)
C) The latest episode of "Rags To Repayment," which started out as sort of a building episode (as James looked for ways to lock down his lot against repo-people without taking his lot out of "micro home" status), progressed to "Bob and Trash are actually earning decent money -- to the point where Bob finally paid off his entire loan! -- but are sad because they don't socialize, even with each other" to NEW YEAR'S EVE DEATH PARTY (as in, James threw a party for New Year's because he thought it might be fun, invited a bunch of their friends -- and the friends came in cold-weather gear during a heat wave in StrangerVille and EIGHT OF THEM DIED FROM OVERHEATING. James was -- well, a little stunned, frankly XD So now they have a graveyard, and another goal for the LP -- bring these unfortunates back from the dead!)
-->My parents and I finished our puzzle! We made some decent progress this morning, and Mom wanted to see if we could just get it done. And we did -- though we ended up having to move the couch out for a minute to find a missing piece. XD So that's all sorted for now -- no more extra distractions! Until the next puzzle. Or until Wednesday, when the LEGO show comes on. :p
-->I played some Sims 4 -- Eliza's birthday party! Once again, I find myself unable to get anything other than a Silver at this event. *grumbles* But she grew up well -- I made her a Genius and started her with the "Whiz Kid" aspiration because she was an Inquisitive toddler. And Victor managed to get a drink with permission from one of the guests (Ezekiel), so that was good as well. AND he finished the "Painter Extraordinaire" aspiration, so that was super good. :D Yay, look at my Sims growing up and accomplishing things! Speaking of which, next play session may in fact be party numero dos, as it's probably about time Emma became a teen. . .
-->I also got about half of my pictures sorted for the Newcrest Adventures update this week (which is last week's play session, Victor and Alice's spa date) -- thinking it'll be a four-parter, but we'll see how it pans out XD
-->Started the edits train on Chapter 4 of "Secundus 2!" The gang has arrived at McFly farm, have made some jokes about how the farm basically qualifies as more of a town than Hill Valley, and have just finished talking about outhouses and how some of them are more familiar with the concept than the would like to be. XD We will get into angst and feels sooner rather than later, but -- yeah. This is what we're starting out with. XD
-->Just finished up the Valice Multiverse queue (pretty simple tonight) and am about to get my comments in the inbox sorted. *nods*
And then it's off to bed, as it is once again work tomorrow. Hopefully it goes well! Night all!
