Yeah, fairly quiet Monday back -- a couple of phone calls that were pretty easily handled (and a glitch in our system is finally fixed, yay), and more roster stuff. And a DREAM of a commute in and back, thanks to it being a holiday for everyone but us for a change, and thus kids being out of school and people being out of work. I got up there and back home in about ten minutes each way! Amazing, huh? And I'm hoping traffic will be lighter this week in general, as some (though not all) schools have February vacation this week. Not likely to be perfect like today, but I'll take decent. Allow me a little relaxation on the road!

Evening's been pretty solid too:

-->Getting home early allowed me to finish cleaning up my pictures for the latest Newcrest Adventures update, w00! And I've got the posts started in my queue now, with pictures up and captioned~ Amazing what a little extra time can do.

-->Got in my workout, yay~ Trying to keep on top of that!

-->Worked some on the puzzle after supper -- managed to get a good chunk of it attached to another chunk, so that was satisfying.

-->Got another page done on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has met Vandal, and finds his prices for blood -- kind of steep. I was going to have her buy some from him, but I'm not entirely sure she can afford it. *wince* Probably for the best, as she already finds him a bit of a creep, who's suggesting she steals morphine from the clinic. I'm actually not planning on having her do that -- she's going to try to legitimately buy painkillers. (Though she may not end up getting them from the clinic -- perhaps the person there will quietly direct her to Trip? Decisions, decisions. . .)

-->Forgot to mention yesterday -- caught up with Atop The Fourth Wall covering the rest of Hellstar Remina! Which is -- Junji Ito cosmic horror torture porn, so it's not quite MY cup of tea, but at least it was fun watching Linkara take on the goofier aspects of the comic. :P

-->Focused on Call Me Kevin for YouTubery tonight:

A) Two episodes of The Stanley Parable from last year, which -- well, being someone who's heard about the game, but never really seen any of it, it was a very funny trip to watch. Kevin absolutely delighted in being a troll to the narrator, and then in suffering the consequences when the narrator trolled back. :p And the game has some pretty unexpected twists and turns, particularly when you start "breaking" it. Good times!

B) James Bond 007 on the Wii, which started out with Kevin getting all dressed up in a suit and doing a proper James Bond intro and everything! Our boy has gotten himself some production values. :D The actual game itself was a hilarious flailfest as Kevin struggled with the controls and his set-up not being Wii-friendly. He made it through the first couple of missions, but -- kind of just barely. XD

C) Unheard, a sponsored game from last year I'd meant to watch but never did until now. It's a detective game, where you have to solve a case via following people and listening in on their conversations, figuring out who's who, who's doing what, and who has what on their person. Kevin -- struggled a little bit, if only because the case he did had a LOT of people to follow, and the added complication of it involving actors rehearsing a play that suspiciously mimicked a real-life robbery of some valuable computer chips. He got through it in the end, but it took some doing! Not saying I'd do any better, though -- hell, if anything, I'd probably do worse, given the number of conversations you have to go back and keep track of.

And now I'm all caught up with webcomics, my queue as it currently stands, and my inbox comments. . .time to get ready for bed and prepare do it all again tomorrow! :P Fingers crossed it remains a decent week. . .night all!
