crossover_chick | A Somewhat Better Wednesday

My coworker was back in, though I don't know how much better she was actually feeling -- she got through a full day, but I wouldn't be surprised if she has to take tomorrow off again. But the volume of phone calls has dropped to a more manageable level, so that made things a little easier. And I've got a project to help me get through the next day or so -- working on returns from the processor! Yaaay~ Hey, it makes the day go by, and that's the important bit. I ended the day at least somewhat less stressed and exhausted than I was yesterday, so -- win.

Evening has been pretty good too:

-->Got in my workout, w000~ (I sort of got in one yesterday -- a few minutes of core exercises from a bonus burn still counts!)

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has disengaged herself from creepy Vandal, and unsuccessfully tried to get drugs from the clinic, only to be pointed in Trip's direction by the desk nurse. Hey, she doesn't want to just start stealing morphine, so she's gotta get Mercurio's painkillers from SOMEWHERE. :P I've also decided she's going to meet the serial public urinator Mark, as everyone's favorite Pee Man needs to get chomped at least once in this fic. XD

-->Watched the latest "Rags To Repayment" episode from James Turner -- and the quest to get the people he accidentally killed at the New Year's Party From Hell back has taken an interesting turn. Namely, James has decided that, in lieu of magic (which he finds too easy), he is going to use SCIENCE to assist him in this endeavor -- namely, he's had Bob swap jobs to Scientist so he can invent the cloning machine to clone Ambrosia once they've got all the ingredients to make it -- that way, he doesn't have to keep buying Potions of Youth. It's so weird to see him do one of the active careers again. . .and even weirder to see another of his self Sims show up, from the abandoned Mad Scientist LP. XD I guess it's a good thing Bob and Trash currently live in StrangerVille, because (as another commenter said) their lives, man. XD

-->Watched the latest LEGO Masters episode -- it remains under the delusion that it's more clever than it thinks it is. Still has some cool builds, though! One of them didn't get the shoutout I think it deserved this episode, but eh, what can you do. The team wasn't eliminated, at least!

-->Finishing up updating my Victor Luvs Alice queue -- done through Friday, and I'm working on my first post for Saturday, so yay~ Nice to feel at least somewhat ahead of the curve!

And now it's time to finish up that and hit the sack -- two more days of work to get through, and I need to get my sleep. We'll see how tomorrow goes -- hopefully similarly to today. *fingers crossed* Night all!
