crossover_chick: Doc looking very sarcastically over his shoulder (BTTF: in a sarcastic mood)

Yeah, unfortunately this was a bit of a bad mood day -- mostly from having to listen to more depressing news (my parents are very good at catching all the various updates, but it does tend to wear on you -- especially the ones from Trump *grumble*), and texts from my coworkers about stuff they're doing while I'm trying to watch something (grrr -- look, I understand we're all checking our work e-mails while we're away, but we're allowed to do other stuff too!). Fortunately I calmed down some after playing Bloodlines -- sometimes, you just gotta kill some Sabbat to improve your mood.

Anyway! Things I did today:

-->Answered some PMs from FF.net that needed answering (since I don't get e-mails for these anymore, because FF.net is a dick)

-->Did indeed check my work e-mail and forwarded some things, as well as took a call from a coworker about what we can do from home and how we're all doing

-->Watched episode 4 of "Vein Pursuit," which -- wooooow. You know WHY I was so ticked off at all those texts and such? Because they were coming during this episode, and it was INTENSE. o.O More shenanigans with the two biker people that seem determined to catch the same quarry our heroes are chasing, a daylight raid on their motel that nearly killed one character --

And VERONICA KILLED DELLA. Because Della was a MORON and put her Instagram career above their safety -- while she hadn't directly broken the Masquerade, she'd been liveblogging their trip, WITH TAGGED LOCATIONS. Meaning that the daylight raid, which was implied to be that government agency that knows about vampires, was HER fault. And because Veronica has had it out for Della since basically the moment they met. . .once they were alone together and Della was incapacitated, Veronica actually DRANK from Della, basically threatening to diablerize her, before staking her and leaving her for the sun. w000f. . .
So yeah -- that was a wild ride! Looking forward to catching up on the next episode!

-->As mentioned before, played Bloodlines afterward -- did the Hallowbrook Hotel! It was -- easier than I remembered. O.o I'm not sure if I missed something, or if the version of the Unofficial Patch I've got really rejiggered things, but it felt a lot -- SHORTER than normal. Like, I know the UP restores a certain area inside the hotel with some vampires and monsters for you to fight, but I was pretty sure there were more floors to explore. . .but nope, the only area I found access to was a little side area with only two vampires. Fighting through that first locale brought me straight down to Andrei's. *shrug* I mean, I RAN with it, but it's definitely going to either have more vampires or Alice is going to examine a lot more rooms in the fic. Cripes, I only had to use ONE blood bag during the whole mess -- and it wasn't even a blue blood bag!

Anyway, fought Andrei, making sure to grab his magical sword (from the True Black Hand, a sect of vampires who LITERALLY LIVE IN THE UNDERWORLD), and a torch for good measure, then filled up on blood, reported back to LaCroix, had my encounter with Beckett telling me not to open the sarcophagus, then met up with Damsel to arrange meeting Nines. This is the part of the game where it doesn't matter how I handle certain things, because it's going down differently in the fic -- for example, Alice does NOT go back to LaCroix, instead just going to the Anarchs to tell them what she found out from Ming because she feels bad about the blood hunt on Nines and wants to make that right in some small way before leaving L.A. (Admittedly, now I have to figure out how LaCroix finds out about her meeting Nines so the fire can be set and the werewolves riled up -- I'm thinking Ming might put a bug in his ear since Alice won't do it, and he has Van and Terrence track her down.) Next play session -- I have to get my timing right so I can crush a werewolf in an observatory. :p

-->Wrote up both my Londerland Bloodlines notes AND the second draft of the gift fic that's due this Thursday -- gotta be ready to gift to the friends, after all! (And get my queue sorted too.)

-->Watched:

A) Jay from the Kubz Scouts try his own "Survive the Pandemic" challenge in 60 Seconds Reatomized! -- he, uh, didn't do well. XD Mostly because a lot of runs got ended early because he forgot one of the vital items during scavenging, and the two runs that did happen both ended when everyone got sick and died. Basically, the McDoodles do not do well with coronavirus on top of the nuclear apocalypse.

B) Call Me Kevin get into movie making with the XBox! Via a very silly game with motion controls where you had to match certain silhouettes and play strange minigames to record footage that was later inserted into a hilariously terrible "movie" (really more like a trailer) -- like of a haunted house, or a superhero adventure, or a mutant gecko terrorizing the countryside (Kevin got himself to play ALL FOUR roles in that one!). It was good goofy fun and I liked it a lot. :)

C) Call Me Kevin get into the streaming lifestyle with Streamer Daily, a game I first saw over on GrayStillPlays! Kevin -- did not get lucky on the gambling minigame. XD Instead, he mined a bunch of bitcoin and broke his computer; tried replacing the parts from a foreign website and kept getting the wrong ones; couldn't figure out how to stream games for a long time; tried to sleep through a ban he got for "showing cleavage" (despite being a male character); and ended up dying because he forgot to tend to his needs. XD Basically the exact opposite of Gray's playthrough. It was great.

-->Got all my pictures for the latest Newcrest Adventures update sorted! Once again, I have a half-update at the end -- dunno how that keeps happening. *shrug* Gotta pop at least one starter post in the queue to keep it going -- good thing I'm being a bit more flexible with my bedtime these days!

And now it's time to do that, answer what's in my inbox, then head to bed. Tomorrow is GrayStillPlays and Fallout 4, I think -- with probably some Sims because I'm starting to collect a LOT of Plumbella. And because I have to do Newcrest Adventure updates. *nods* Night all!
