Though I did have some grumpy moments this morning while trying to make my smoothie around Mom's attempts to make eggs for potato salad and Dad making coffee (and dealing with the peel on a frozen banana -- I have pre-peeled a banana and put it in the freezer for tomorrow), and dealing with a few bugs that had gotten into the house -- fortunately, I then proceeded to get "Catchy Song" from The LEGO Movie 2 stuck in my head, which prompted me to listen to a lot of happy/Valicey music, which got me out of my mood. Yay for that!

Most of the day has been the usual Saturday "messing around on the computer" stuff:

-->Watched both Fun With Shorts I'd missed earlier in the week from my subscriptions: A Lone Ranger cartoon featuring "The Human Dynamo," an electric man in the Old West (apparently it's tagged "steampunk action" on Archive.org!); and a short on plastics, with some basics on how they're made, and how they were so super important to the war effort! Yeah, just what we need to think about these days, World War II. . .both were lots of fun, though. :)

-->Caught up on some GrayStillPlays videos:

A) Survive In Russia (where Gray played an alcoholic, nearly-homeless doctor -- naturally he tried to kill as many patients as possible, and ended up in the middle of a gang war between his girlfriend's Mafia boss father and his up-and-coming gangster coworker XD)

B) People (where Gray played a little god in charge of an island of people -- he promptly made everyone breed like rabbits so he could have the pleasure of killing them by spawned-in troll, only to discover THEY REPOPULATED FASTER THAN HE COULD KILL THEM NOOOO XD)

C) And another episode of Episode (where Gray played a young Floridaman willing to do ANYTHING to get the manager position in his shitty fast food job -- including sexing up coworkers, putting coworkers in the hospital, deporting them. . .took quite a few tries to find the right combination of horrible fates before he finally got the job! XD) Good times~

-->Also caught up on a couple of Call Me Kevin videos:

A) Animal Crossing New Horizons (where Kevin, as Fecker, was conned by Tom Nook into living on an island and proceeded to do everything he could to torment and turn everyone against this one scary-looking lion named Rory -- also put a weird pattern on his face that looks just a BIT like blood XD)

B) Another episode of Dreams (where Kevin experienced such fever dreams as a collection of terrible "Shrek vs Minecraft" minigames, Pickle Rick in Smash Bros, TWO attempts to recreate Simpsons Hit and Run, and The Quest For Cheese 2, which is in fact a quest to find GROMIT -- which Kevin noped out of after one too many Family Guy characters appeared with annoying sound clips for voices XD) Also good times~

-->And caught up on James Turner's newest LP -- also Animal Crossing New Horizons! Of course, unlike Kevin, he's trying to play it CORRECTLY, so his character is going around actually gathering (or being gifted, thanks to a visit from Dr. Gluon) materials to help make a store, and being friendly to his neighbors, and planting trees and such. Though he DID wallpaper his entire house in his YouTube icon, sooo -- some chaotic energy there. XD

-->Played some Fallout 4 -- started off the game both right (with Preston having a "companion really likes you" conversation with me, where he complimented me on being such a good Minuteman and I reminded him that I'm just following his example) and wrong (darn radiation storm! I'd just CLEARED those rads!). Also Preston glitched out at one point and was hovering along the ground with his rifle held above his head -- fortunately he unglitched after a few map changes. XD But yeah, started off clearing out the raiders bothering Abernathy Farm by sneaking into their hideout in the basement of the Walden Pond gift shop and using a few grenades to kill 'em quick. After that, Preston and I proceeded to Finch Farm, with a quick stop off at County Crossing for me to clear out some stuff in my inventory and a moment taken to kill some new Super Mutants who moved into Revere Satellite Array. Finch Farm is being beset by the Forged, raiders with a metal and fire theme -- the patriarch told me his idiot son had run off to join them and taken his grandfather's sword, and could I please take care of them and get the sword back? He doesn't care about his son (Jake), but you CAN convince said son to quit the Forged according to my quest log, sooo. . .gonna try that!

If, you know, I survive the encounter -- I HAVE made it into their base of operations (an Ironworks nearby), but DAMN did it take some doing! First time, I came in on the wrong side and disturbed some nearby gunners along with the Forged (who, being fire themed, have ground troops that carry FLAMETHROWERS); subsequent times, I managed to come in on the OTHER side, but was quickly overwhelmed by the assholes. I FINALLY managed to thin the herd slightly with my sniper rifle, and lay down a mine that crippled one of my usual assailants. And then it was just desperate shooting with whatever gun I thought was the best (plasma and strange alien energy certainly seemed to work!) Important thing is that I got past them, and also the ones inside. And activated a Protectron to take a few stragglers out for good measure. Hehe~ Now, time to hope that, next time I play, I can pull off the fight against Slag. . .

-->Slacked off a bit with the "official" writing today -- I didn't have a "Secundus 2" chapter ready to go up, and I wasn't sure what else I wanted to write. But I sort of made up for it by getting my queue on Victor Luvs Alice ready early! Which, you know, is easier when you don't have a whole chapter to review and post. XD But that's all set through Tuesday -- and I'm also actually getting my pictures for the Newcrest Adventures update on Wednesday sorted too! Because, well, it's a small update, and I might as well have them ready before I play Sims again tomorrow, as I AM planning on playing the McFlys. Sending them to the water park I downloaded, because if I can't get out, they can. :p

And now -- well, not much happening just at this MOMENT (Valice Multiverse is quiet), so I intend to finish up my pictures for the Newcrest Adventures update, and maybe add some more things to my Victor Luvs Alice drafts. I need ideas for future posts and all. . . Sims stuff tomorrow! Already have all my videos lined up, including another episode of "Rags to Repayment" -- thumbnail and title suggests New Year's Party II did not go well. XD Night all!
