Dad's been working on the taxes, and is apparently having TurboTax issues, so -- yeah. And when he's in a mood, everyone else ends up in a mood too. *sigh* I dislike moods. Especially when there's no good way to get away from them. At least I'm very good with sitting in my room with the door shut. . .

Anyway, my tumblr friend with the Friday Night Writing Thing talked me into doing some early writing (or, rather, I talked him into early writing, because I want to make sure I keep to my sleep schedule on weekdays just so I don't lose track of time), so let me try and get through this quickly:

-->Morning was spent watching more Fallout 4 companion reaction videos (they're funny!), then getting my Victor Luvs Alice queue sorted through the beginning of Sunday, yay~ Work has officially dried up now that the furlough is in place, soo got plenty of time for that these days!

-->Also watched a bunch of trailers for the game in the afternoon -- I find it amusing that you have these epic and moody trailers for stuff like the "Automatron" and "Far Harbor" expansions. . .and then you have the one for "Wasteland Workshop," which runs on ridiculous, and then the ones for "Nuka-World" -- oh man XD Talk about making me want to play the game more. XD

-->As for the "official" videos of the Watch Later queue:

A) Caught up on what I believe is the earliest of Call Me Kevin's "playing Fallout 4 with ridiculous mods" videos -- just him with his goofy facial expressions and a mod that changes all of Nate's dialogue to be read out via a "text to speech" program. Including all of his random grunts. Kind of takes the mickey out of the emotional "Nora gets shot" scene when Nate's going "asterisk grunt asterisk!" XD Absolutely delightful!

B) Watched a video on if it's possible to beat Fallout 4 without a Pip-Boy -- the answer? Yes, because you can glitch your way past actually getting it, and the game will still let you assign hot-keys to weapons and use stimpacks and such like you had it. BUT, you will not get the map, so NO FAST TRAVELING. So you can win, but it will be a slog of a win as you have to run all over the map by hand. Probably not worth. XD

C) A quick sum-up of the history of the Fallout universe as a whole done by the Alternate History Hub when Fallout 4 was coming out -- nothing that I didn't already know from wikiwalks and the like, really, but it was still a fun watch.

D) Linkara's latest AT4W, on "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, And The American Way?" -- a classic Superman comic where he confronts a team of "heroes" who embody everything bad about the super-violent Dark Ages, and confronts his own morals to see if they're keeping up with the changing times. It's a very solid piece of work, and I'm glad he reviewed it on his show. Thank you Patreon supporter!

E) GrayStillPlays more Episode! Because the day wasn't wacky enough. XD Today's was a fun romp with "Floridameth" playing the keeper of the gates to Heaven and Hell, interviewing some truly shocking characters -- like the Satan worshipper, the fireman who also does stripper dances, and the clown who is also a doctor. Sent 'em all to Heaven, sent 'em all to Hell, got Floridameth screwed over both ways. Lovey!

F) GrayStillPlays more Sims 4! This time shoving Sims underground into three floors of lethal quarantine, with a mod that boosts all emotional effects by 10 and objects designed to make hilariously happy, unaccountably angry, or amazingly mortified. The Sims were dropping like FLIES. XD And best of all, it was a sponsored video from a company that sent Gray earbuds -- he dropped them (in their case) in a food processor to show off their toughness! So that was a thing too. XD Winner was the same Sim as last time too -- Whitley, now an official part of the family! She's tough -- that's good in Gray land. XD

-->Played more Fallout 4 -- located that locked fridge and scavenger that I passed while taking care of the super mutant threat for my new settlement. Unfortunately had to kill the scavenger, but the fridge had a bayoneted missile launcher in it, so that was cool. :D Then it was back to the Red Rocket to drop off some stuff; Sanctuary Hills to upgrade my armor a bit (and get a free point in Agility from the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. book still in Shaun's old nursery); and Oberland Station to find out about their ghoul problem. They're coming from Cambridge's College Square station -- cleared out the main square, and am currently going through the station. Which, um, has a LOT of dead raiders in it, soooo. . .slightly concerned now. O.o At least I got my good buddy Preston at my back!

-->And did my final push and got Chapter 6 of "Secundus 2" sorted! w000! Took a bit, but the chapter is complete and I can put it up Saturday evening, yay~

And now I really have to go to bed, as it's a bit later than I intended. . . Tomorrow is more Sims 4 and vampire stuff, so that's something! And maybe I'll finally get around to reading my other friend's fanfic again. . . I'll have to make myself budget some time. *firm nod* Anyway, night all!
