Another Cleaning Saturday

crossover_chickYeah, the usual "once every two weeks" routine of dusting, Swiffering, and vacuuming -- and, as usual, it took up a decent chunk of the day. Though I suppose I didn't help things by not getting up until about 10 AM. . .to be fair, I was up until about 2 AM, and I REALLY needed the sleep. Been not sleeping well lately and -- yeah, a chance to sleep in wasn't to be wasted.
Anyway, yeah, mostly about the cleaning today. Though I did get some other things done:
-->Played a bit of Sims 4 -- the next day in Eric's lineup. He solved another case at work (and found the suspect at A-Maze-Ing Wonderland, which makes me happy :D), then came home, only to be invited to a spontaneous dance party at the Windenburg Island Bluffs. So I had him go and hit the dance floor. He had a good time. :)
-->Took another hike around the yard, because it was gorgeous out AGAIN today :D Finally feeling like spring, or even summer! Only downside is that the pollen is now starting to play havoc with my sinuses, which is -- bleh.
-->Wrote some more on "An Introductory Guide to Magic" -- and yes, I've definitely turned some kind of corner, because I got a page pretty easily today! I think having some of what I want to say a little straighter in my head now is helping. :) Today's topic was measuring people's magical energy, and using that to determine the kind of spells they can cast and the number -- always good to set some ground rules! Especially ones I'm pretty sure I haven't yet contradicted in the main story text. XD

A) James Turner returns from "adventures in Minecraft plugins" to give us another episode of "Rags to Repayment!" It -- wasn't the most glamorous few days in Bob's life, to be sure. The laundry is basically constant; he wrote a book that was nominated for an award, but didn't get one -- and passed out at the ceremony from exhaustion (and then again once he got home); and he still hasn't gotten his hoped-for promotion despite mind-controlling all his coworkers, analyzing the shit out of things, and SUMMONING AN ALIEN THROUGH THE WORMHOLE GENERATOR. O.o Sheesh, what does a guy have to do to reach level 7 in this career? Ah well, James is still giving it his best go so he can finally start cloning Sims and hopefully get the Grim Reaper to move in as his roommate. XD That's his wanted end goal for the series -- I hope he makes it!
B) Outstar talking about the latest Bloodlines 2 trailer to drop -- though she couldn't say too much, as she now works for the people behind the World of Darkness and has actually played some of the game! But she commented on certain scenes (having a laugh at her former love of Mr. Damp, who is now proved to be very very evil), and gave us some cool tidbits (such as the reveal that our Thinblood will have access to all three Thinblood Disciplines for moving around the world (moving as a mist, flying like a bat, and using telekinesis to clear blockages) -- the devs realized it was just more fun that way. You're only limited to one for COMBAT purposes). So that was fun!
-->And currently I'm catching up on tumblr tags and doing a bit of the RP thing over on Valice Multiverse. Nothing particularly exciting, though I am again reading stuff on Fallout 4 mods. *sigh* There's just so many interesting ones! I'm sincerely hoping to make some progress on that front with my own collection tomorrow. Would be nice to actually fire up the game again. . .
But yeah, that's been my Saturday! Nothing too special. Tomorrow I hope to get a little more done online as I won't have a room to clean. . .though I will probably be playing games with the family too. Mom made new bean bags for the bean bag game she and Dad put together, so that should be fun. Maybe I could win a game for once. . .we'll see! For now, night all!
