Very Polleny Wednesday

crossover_chickI am disliking all this pollen nonsense -- had to take a moment to clean off the car's windshield because the evil yellow dust was getting so thick! Bleh. . .tomorrow's it's supposed to rain, so I hope that'll wash some of it away and help clear the air a little. My sinuses can use all the help they can get.
In other news:
-->Decent enough day at work -- I didn't get to the exceptions, but that's because I was basically processing all day -- checks, new arrivals from a Capital Campaign, all that fun stuff. Kept me busy and kept the day moving! Though there was one annoying bit where there was an online meeting we were supposed to have, and they had to cancel at the last minute because their test system received an inconvenient update. Meh.
-->No beanbag game today (humid and looking like it was gonna rain when I got home), so I actually managed to get in a proper workout video, yay~ Need to try and stay on top of that!
-->Finished up Chapter 3 of "Londerland Bloodlines!" :D Which was easier, because I could just write what I wanted instead of having to check someone's LP. Alice had a bit of a moan about asshole men (totally justified), pondered why she saved Van Dort (because he's a sweetie and one of your eventual love interests), then prepared to go into her day coma. Chapter 4 shalt begin with spending money and figuring out a way to get a murderer's ax into a nightclub without causing due alarm!
-->Another night of Call Me Kevin so I could finish up everything I had in the Watch Later queue from him:
A) Detective Bot – A physics-based game about a robot detective investigating evil robodogs, in a world where your limbs work on Octodad rules. Kevin was – well, you could hear the frustration in his voice, poor guy. Great to watch him flailing around and trying to accomplish things like pick up a box or find a drinks can. He didn't exactly solve the case of the evil robodogs, but he got forced into retirement, and that was good enough for him!
B) More Tomodachi Life – we have a couple of new islanders, Ron Weasley (PS1 version) and Grog, a guy Kevin apparently plays in a game he streams on Twitch. They're welcome additions to the family, but the real star of the show was Little Kevin. He's got a part-time job at the supermarket now; his room has been converted to a hamster cage; he's got some new clothes to wear; and we discovered he really really REALLY likes jelly. XD Also, lots of fun new songs, including Default singing "Rock and Roll Baby" ("You make my heart beat at a normal rate. . .") and Kevin and Turg having an opera together to sing us out! This game is loads of fun and I'm glad Kevin's making it a series of sorts. :D
C) More Episode – with Kevin playing Episodes based on, well, him. He searched himself in an earlier video and found nothing, but now fans have stepped in to fill the gap! Mostly to ship Kevin with Turg, his Mii. XD There were two stories where Kevin ended up with Turgy – one where he just ran into Turg on a beach vacation, and one where he went on an actual dating show featuring his characters. Both also involved Jim Pickens committing lots and lots of murder. XD The dating show one was the best, though, as it involved not only Kevin, Grognak, Jim, and Turg, but also his two previous Episode characters! XD So good – incredibly silly, but good. XD
-->And I just finished making up my Victor Luvs Alice queue for the next couple of days, yay~ Just trying to get everything sorted to my satisfaction! Now to answer everything left in the inbox, and then -- bed. Gotta try and get some sleep. . .and hopefully tomorrow goes smoothly before I take my personal day for my dentist appointment. *nods* Night all!
