Another Busy Tuesday

crossover_chickThis time with GL fun at work -- for whatever reason, the usual report glitched out, and when it was fixed, it started pulling in things from batches committed TODAY (the GL is for yesterday), sooo -- yeah. That was an annoyance. At least I got ID numbers and suchlike for all of the stuff I had lying around, and managed to get most of it on. Still have some big batches for tomorrow, but I'm hoping I can sort them and the GL out in the morning and finally get back to some "exceptions" stuff in the afternoon. So much to do, so little time. . .especially when part of each day has to be spent cleaning. Must have a clean area before I can do work!
Afternoon's been pretty low-key, at least:
-->We played another round of the beanbag game -- I was off today, sadly. Didn't hit my stride until game #3, and even then it wasn't enough to win. Dad won two and Mom won one, so they're happy, at least. :p
-->Got in another workout video, so that was good -- trying to keep that up.
-->Did some more on Chapter 8 of "Secundus 2," finishing off the gang leaving the festival (and coming SO CLOSE to realizing what might be happening with Buford and Gordon; they just can't make the leap to who the "deadwalker" Buford mention is because, naturally, they think he's long gone). Next couple of pages are back with Gordon and Buford, to set things up for the climax. Soooo close to being done. . .

A) FINALLY watched the first episode of "Rags to Redevelopment" by James! Ambrose is off in Evergreen Harbor, and he's taking an unusual approach to the family business of rags to riches -- he's getting a job! Namely, since James already did the "make stuff to earn money" as his primary source of income in the "Wax To Riches" miniseries, he figured he'd try out the new career this time -- Civil Engineer! Not that Ambrose is getting left out of all the Eco Lifestyle fun -- James had made his lot Off-The-Grid, and forced him to dumpster dive near-continuously for stuff. Hey, it netted him a fridge and a shower! A shower that looked like it was going to be perma-broken until he finally called in a repairman. Also, he can't have cereal from the FRIDGE because apparently you can't get that without power. A HAM SANDWICH is fine though. *shakes head* Sims sometimes. . . Well, hopefully soon enough Ambrose will have enough money to get some stuff to generate power and get a real house, instead of just a blank lot with a shower, a fridge, a bed, and two plants on it. XD
B) A "Fun With Shorts" about "park consciousness" -- basically the worst bits of an educational video and someone's home movie of their camping vacation. Ooof. Poor Josh was literally begging the film to cut away from people jumping into a lake and climbing out at one point. XD
-->Got my Newcrest Adventures update sorted (Eric's Harvestfest update, which is the one I feel most comfortable posting) and I'm currently working on catching up on tumblr tags and getting my Valice Multiverse queue sorted. Just gotta answer the last couple of things in the inbox and head to bed. More of this tomorrow, yaay. . . Night all!
