crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Or maybe sour-intestined is a better phrase. . .I'm not sure why, though. Trapped gas? Overstuffed myself a little tonight at supper (and later with dessert)? Actual illness? My old enemy, 'you never get enough sleep?' I dunno -- we're gonna have to see how I feel in the morning. I do have plenty of sick time to burn if necessary. I just, for what I hope are obvious reasons, hope I'm not actually sick. Even if it's not coronavirus, it would still be a pain in the ass.

Anyway -- despite this, I had a pretty decent Monday off:

-->Watched quite a bit of YouTube, including:

A) Well, these were technically last night, but I watched them after midnight, soooo :p A couple of videos from The Spiffing Brit, about exploits in:

1. Skyrim, where your level one character can learn a necromancy ritual from a special stone in the world that allows them to awaken the dead in a frankly embarrassingly-large radius around them and have them fight for them once a day – and then, with the help of a side quest that rewards you with a special crown that can renew the ritual stone and some sneaky hat-swapping, remove that "once a day" limitation (which we were already getting around via the "wait" system) and basically form their own undead army, w000~ We had "Barry the Bone Raiser" instead of fan favorite Reanu Keeves, but – well, the latter is pretty busy in Fallout 4 these days. XD And Barry certainly made good for himself with his undead giants and mammoths.

2. Spongebob Squarepants Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, where Spongebob can, with the help of confusing input from two controllers to use the fast travel system, fast travel to THE END BOSS FIGHT after getting past the initial tutorial stage. Not his usual chaos, but I still found it pretty fascinating!

B) Kevin and RT attempt to solve puzzles as cute little walking robots in Biped! I'd seen clips of this in the "RT babysits Kevin" compilation video from yesterday, and I wanted to see the whole thing. It was as cute and chaotic as you might expect from such a game. XD Especially with Kevin trolling RT about one of his uploads going up mid-game. . .

C) 50 Easter Eggs and secrets from The Sims 1, courtesy of onlyabidoang! Some of it was stuff I knew (like all the real-life celebs in the Superstar world), some of it I didn't (like the fact that you can see all the Vacation locale mascots in cartoon form on the kid's channel! That was rather neat. :) )

D) Catching up on the Sims side of CallMeKevin – more shenanigans with Jim and Turg in their new container home! XD Shenanigans include Jim getting naked in a stranger's house, swiping their stuff, getting kicked out for making food (and then getting LOCKED IN because the "getting kicked out" part glitched thanks to Turg being unconscious on the floor at the time – when Turg got up and left, Jim was back inside cooking, and Kevin couldn't get back in to him), Turg randomly getting into the Painting career despite having no talent for it (seriously, just a random phone call put him halfway up the ladder!), swiping more stuff from their neighbors who live in the crane house, Jim painting a few masterpieces of Turg (which Kevin couldn't bear to part with despite them needing the money), and the pair finally getting a Murphy bed to sleep in – only to discover that it needs power to go up and down, prompting the emergency purchase of wind turbines and solar panels just so they could sleep. :P Good times, good times. . .

E) Discovering a new Plumbella video – or, rather, a new Mambella and Dadbella video, as Plumbella lets them loose on the game with the Extreme Violence mod. After a bit of a weird start where they were more interested in having their Sim selves make a baby, they finally got down to the important business of killing Sims at a bar. Mambella seemed to favor crushing people's heads with her butt, while Dadbella liked to ax people in the head. XD Also, Dad killed Mam at one point, and missed the opportunity to resurrect her. XD Basically, watching this – you get where Plumbella got it from. XD

F) The next "Rags To Redevelopment" episode from James! Yes, he's back, after finally getting back to his place in Sydney from lockdown and then recovering from a stomach bug. Ambrose's life remains something of a trainwreck, I'm afraid – he HAS managed to earn enough money to upgrade his house to two "shipping containers," and actually separate out his bathroom into its own room, but – well, he's constantly uncomfortable because he can't eat anything but quick meals; it took him like nine tries to actually successfully make a hydroponic planter for his grapes on the fabricator; and he couldn't do part of his work-at-home tasks because a) his neighborhood already has every action plan spot filled, and b) nobody would take him up on trying to repeal one to get a space! Basically the poor guy is not living his best life, and it shows. Not to mention he's going to age up really soon. . .he really needs a hug. And a kitchen counter. (James keeps dumpster diving. . .)

G) And then I ended on another compilation video about Kevin – this time, someone trying to track how many kills Jim Pickens has had across his various Sims videos. Apparently Jim had some initial kills in Sims 1 that I didn't know about! But then again, I'm not caught up on every early episode involving him. . .still, it was pretty fun to see all the clips with him slaughtering people with his mod-induced powers and flirting with the Grim Reaper. XD

-->Played some Sims 4 -- followed the pregnant Nikal to work as she used her Sim Ray to mind-control all her coworkers and made various Serums. Not much more exciting than that! But hey, she's got a baby on the way -- probably for the best to keep her away from too much excitement. Besides, next day in the line-up is Winterfest! So that'll be nice. :) Literally be Christmas in July! XD

-->We had another round of the beanbag game -- and, once again, we each won a game! I won the first game, Mom came from behind to win the second game, and Dad won the third. So that was all good. :)

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has met Kilpatrick, who -- thanks to not seeing a lot of people lately -- has just up and spilled the beans on his missing bounty hunter, Carson. Alice has taken the job of tracking the guy down, which will lead to some interesting adventures, if you know the game. . . ;) But first, she's gotta get on the Krime-Puter in the back.

-->Just did the preliminary posts in my queue for this week's Newcrest Adventures update, yay~ Also answered comments early because I forgot one last night, whoops. ^^;

And that about brings us to now. Probably should take a minute and try to turn in earlier tonight, I think. . .get a bit of water before bed, flush out the system. Need to get some semi-decent sleep, after all. . .work again tomorrow! Unless I'm still not good in the morning, of course! But I'm hoping I am. Not that I'm particularly EAGER to go to work, but -- you all know what I mean. *sigh* Night all!
