Another stressful one at work -- this time, it was watching videos on PCI compliance and emptying out voicemail inboxes so we can be sure we've contacted everyone who needs contacting. Fortunately most of the calls were people I'd already talked to, but there's still some people who need some sort of call back. Bleh, hate talking on the phone. . . But on the PLUS side, I am getting genuinely rewarded for the hard work -- got a bonus coming in my next paycheck, yay. Well-earned, at least in my opinion. Now if I could only stop PMSing for five seconds. . .

After work was a bit up and down too:

-->No beanbag game as it wasn't as nice as they said it was going to be -- it was pretty decent by the time I got home, but the day started off cloudy and sprinkly, and it was too buggy to play according to Mom. Which, I'm the one who ends up with the most insect bites when we're outside, so I can get that.

-->I sort of got in a workout -- my damn computer froze while I was picking a video, then insisted on installing updates when I restarted, so I sort of made up my own using the moves I've learned from the videos I usually watch. Worked up a bit of a sweat for ten minutes, which was better than nothing!

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has had a creepy conversation with Vandal, and is now going to be using Obfuscate to get past him and sneak into the blood bank looking for both secrets and an easy way into the morgue. And she shall find both, as anyone who's played this game knows. :p I'm looking forward to when she finally gets to slam him up against a wall. :p

-->Time to marathon Call Me Kevin again! Tonight we had:

1. Sims 2 PSP – yes, there was a Sims game for the PSP. It's set in Strangetown, there is a storyline that seems to involve a LOT of kidnapping and murder (but then again, the canonical Strangetown also had a lot of that), and you can edit all your non-story-important neighbors to look like cowboys. XD Also, Kevin's guy got the classic "Nery" face (you know, pudgy with big lips) – Kevin stuck a fedora on him and called him "M'Lady" XD M'Lady somehow managed to get a mansion off Bella Goth for ten simoleons, then died multiple times trying to clear the ghosts from it and rescue the kidnapped garbage man from his neighbors the Beakers. Fortunately, Grim offers a resurrection package plan, and scaring people is an easy way to get enough "sanity points" to pay him! . . .Yeah, this game is weird. XD

2. More Miitopia, aka the Tomodachi Life Fantasy AU! XD The adventure continues with a new adventurer joining the party – default, the Cool Warrior! This is actually a perfect fit for her, as "Warrior" is the default class, and "Cool" gives you perks like "indifference." She also kicks a lot of ass with her sword – which is good, as the party is coming up against some pretty dire threats, like banshees and jellies! We've had total party kills a couple of times, sadly. But the gang is pushing on as best they can. Hopefully with Turg's new megaphone, they can start turning the tide of battle!

3. Conker's Bad Fur Day – my first time actually seeing more than just the jokey "throw as many movie parodies as possible in" final levels! Judging by the fact Kevin kept falling down this one waterfall like eight or nine times, it looks hard. XD And of course, the vulgarity was out in full force right from the start. Kevin loved the contrast between the cutesy visuals and the actual dialogue. And he REALLY loved the "Feck Off Crows" sign right at the beginning. XD I kinda hope he does more – I wanna see where this game goes!

4. Deal or No Deal – on the Wii, which, on the bad side, means it forces Kevin to use super-awkward motion controls. On the good side, it means our contestant was none other than Turg! :D He picked case 4, hung onto it straight until the end – and won $400. XD Kevin was annoyed, but Turg was just happy to be there!

5. More Tomodachi Life, because we can't neglect the main MiiVerse! Jimantha Pickens has joined the group this episode (no, it's not Jim in a blond wig – no, seriously, it's not this time), though the focus was more on Lil Kev getting threatened by either Turg or a Turg-a-like (we're not sure), and Turg and default hanging out together. Kevin actually is getting committed to their relationship, and seemed genuinely sad that the attract-o-meter said that they only had a 12% chance of being happy romantically. (Jim and Jimantha, meanwhile, got 88%, which is both understandable and kind of creepy!) And of course there were more songs, because we can't have Tomodachi Life without default singing very neutral rock-n-roll, or Lil Kev doing operas about how sad he is. XD

-->And I just got my queue straight through the beginning of Sunday done -- lucked out in that I had posts for Thursday, Friday, AND Saturday this week pre-drafted, thanks to a burst of productivity last Saturday! I don't know if that'll repeat itself this weekend, since I fully expect to have my period and thus be no good to anyone, but it's nice to be ahead this week, at least!

And now it's time to start working my way toward wrapping things up for another night. REALLY hoping I sleep better tonight -- between my CD player doing that annoying thing where it'll just stop and reset in the middle of a song, and my brain going five million miles a minute about creepy stuff (shouldn't have read those horror stories from yesterday so close to bedtime! I mean, they were good, but that was the problem), I had a hell of a time getting to sleep. And then I woke up early again, which I will again blame on my PMS, as I have noticed some insomnia IS a side effect of that. . .ugh, I swear, my body just hates me sometimes. *sigh* Just -- fingers crossed for a better night! Almost through this week. . .night all!
