crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
One of those days where everything seems to pile up on you, sadly -- and where I didn't get as much of the stuff as I wanted to get done, done. Mostly because I have to ask other people to look into certain things for me, and that means waiting around, and then I try to do another task, and I get interrupted. . .ugh. *pinches the bridge of her nose* There's a reason I went ahead and had a bit of cake tonight (Mom made a new one, with real frosting. So far no tummy aches!).

At least we're past the halfway point with the work week now. And the evening's been all right:

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has freed Lily, and Lily has sucked Phil dry in a frenzy. Girl's gonna be high for a moment on the blood -- then realize she's killed someone and have a bit of a freakout. At least Alice is going to be there to awkwardly comfort her! And then slam Vandal up against a wall. :P

-->Focused my YouTubing on some of my favorites tonight:

A) Caught up on the two latest Call Me Kevin videos:

1. Habbo Hotel – one of those multiplayer "chat room" type of games, this one themed around various "hotels" people make! This is using the word "hotel" loosely – Kevin visited a police station and the freaking White House in his playthrough. He got himself locked up in the station and claimed it was because the government framed him for killing himself, then tried to become president in the White House and make a law banning poor people (via the medium of giving them lots of money, aka Nice Kevin showing through) while changing clothes in his office. He naturally ended up banned from quite a few places for confusing and annoying people. XD Oh Kevin. . .I really want one of the people he's interacted with in one of these places to find his videos and be like, "Ooooh, that explains a lot. . ."

2. Simulacra – a horror game about finding a lost woman's phone, and needing to talk to the contacts on it and manipulate the corrupted data to try and figure out what happened to her. ...Kevin pissed off her old boyfriend via text message, flirted with a guy on "Sparks" (the Tinder equivalent), redid her Sparks profile to say her name was "Anus" and that she was 12, tried to ruin the guy he was flirting with by posting all about how he matched with a "12 year old" on Jabber (the Twitter equivalent), and danced to the hold music when he contacted her personal shopper. Suffice to say I wasn't very scared. XD Ah, just like the good old Helloween days. . .

B) And then the three latest GrayStillPlays videos:

1. Warehouse Simulator – one of those cheap-o Unity simulators about working in a warehouse, loading pallets onto trucks and occasionally taking a pickup out for a spin yourself! ...Gray spent all of his time either getting the forklift caught on other assets, getting the forklift to flip over or levitate (also, fun fact, the player character asset duplicates itself UNDER the forklift if you do this, which confused the hell out of Gray), and making a pallet of coffee beans levitate via pallet Jenga. XD When Gray sets out to break a game, he BREAKS a game.

2. More Happy Wheels – like Gray wasn't going to play more of this. XD Today was the "family edition," which meant lots of boards with children. We had classic baby tosses, trying to get little Legolas through a harpoon obstacle course, speeding over a falling bridge of bottles, the world's most fiddly sword throw, and a father on a pogo stick attempting to save his five hundred children from his brother-in-law's near-identical gang and getting battle axes and katanas lodged up his bum. XD Nearly freaking choked on my own spit halfway through, I was laughing that hard.

3. More The Sims 4 – and another sponsor by Raycon Earbuds! What could Gray do to them that he hasn't yet done? How about whack 'em with a golf club? XD Maybe not as epic as running them over with his car, but I appreciate he always figures out another way to abuse them. (And show off just how sturdy they are, 'cause damn.) As for the Sims themselves, Gray has gotten into tiny homes! And when I say that, I mean he built a 1X1 brick harpoon of pain and managed to make a functional house out of it by shrinking all the furniture to tiny size and abusing move objects on. And then stuffed 100 Sims into it and cut off all means of escape via a massive pool. XD The glitches started early (Sims walking on water, levitating, all that fun stuff), but it actually took a couple of in-game days for them to start dying. Once the embarrassment set in, though – well, a bunch of them actually teleported straight off the lot to get enough room to die. XD The others? Well, they just sort of hung around, metaphorically and literally. XD Glorious.

-->Got a bit more of my Victor Luvs Alice queue done -- I've got both posts for Thursday and Friday up! Just need to figure out what I'm doing for the first post of Saturday. . .

And that's about it, really. Too sticky for beanbags, sadly, and I ended up getting caught up in other things and not doing a workout. Whoops. Ah well, try again tomorrow. . .right now I have to answer my comments and hit the sack. Another long day tomorrow, I think. . . Nothing for it. Gotta get on with things. *nods* Night all!
