Long First Day Back

crossover_chickAs it usually is after long weekends. I did what I could with what I had -- still trying to get those exceptions completely sorted, did some updates on stuff, that sort of thing -- did my best to avoid people and not strangle my coworkers for never shutting up. . .you know, the usual. *sigh*
Afternoon was all right, though:
-->Did an exercise session on the bike -- twenty minutes plus a three-minute cooldown. It's, uh, not my favorite way to work out (it's in the basement, with depressing lighting and not much to look at, and the seat either hurts my butt or makes it go numb), but it's exercise, and that's the important bit
-->Got some more written on "Secundus 2" Chapter 11 after a very late supper (because we were all taking turns on the bikes) -- the final Presto-Log has blown, and Victor, Clara, and Jennifer are about to see just how well the Grasshopper Teapot tea works. Just over a page to go -- should be able to manage it on Thursday!

A) A short little song by Bill Wurtz (creator of that twenty-minute video of the history of the world – "the sun is a deadly lazer" anyone?), about how he doesn't want to go to school, because he doesn't want anyone telling him how to get through this, or be afraid of dangerous politicians, or. . . The song was made in 2015 – and let me tell you, it hits a LOOOT differently in 2020!
B) Then it was time for a bit of Call Me Kevin:
1. Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts – I'm pretty sure I saw Helloween play this one, as a joke on Halloween? At any rate, Kevin took what is suppose to be a cute racing game with customizable cars and turned into a world-wrecking sim – running over pristine areas, smashing into civilians, and attempting to race with all of his wheels piled on the back end. XD Ah, you gotta love it! He's a real maniac when he's behind the wheel, that's for sure.
2. A look back at some of his earliest videos as zxNoRegretzxz, including a look at his old intro (oh man) and him playing "Search and Destroy" from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He sounded so DIFFERENT back then! He compared himself to a "golf commentator," and – it's apt, he was quiet. We even got to hear the moment where he considered changing over to his current intro, it's cool! And then Kevin jumped into playing "Search and Destroy" in the modern day, and – he actually wasn't half bad! He jokes about how he's gotten worse at games over the years, but he racked up a pretty solid kill/death count! All while annoying people talking about his old username, which – some things never change. XD
C) And then we popped over to GrayStillPlays, with Kuukiyomi Consider it, a Japanese/English game about either being a good person or a total dick. Guess which Gray picked. XD Not letting couples sit together on the subway, looking at ladies' butts, making sure a chicken-man at one of those restaurants with the conveyor belts gets all the chicken platters, trying to make sense of confusing aliens who may or may not want to destroy the world. . . Yeah, it was a weird game. But hey, we found out Gray's sympathy is his best quality! At a whole twelve points! XD Yeah, he's a high school dropout when it comes to being a good person; who's surprised?
D) And then, to book-end it, another goofy little song by Bill Wurtz, trying to figure out what love is (a hearty breakfast? A successful sales deal?) before settling on a very literal definition of "four-letter word that can be used in a variety of ways, mostly positive." XD

-->And now I'm catching up on comments here before heading to bed. Hoping I sleep a bit better tonight than I did last night. . .but then again, I do tend to need a night just to properly readjust back to work sleep schedule anyway, so. . .
Anyway. Off to finish things off, then hit the sheets. Tomorrow -- well, more work bullshit, making muffins for breakfast (I was SUPPOSED to make them tonight, crap -- I'll figure something out in the morning), and more "Londerland Bloodlines." Night all!
