crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)

JUST made this one -- good thing that vine compilation ended when it did! Anyway, yes, into actual days featured in BTTF III, with Marty arriving in the Old West, and promptly suffering like ten different kinds of trauma. He really is lucky that fictional character's heads are more resilient than actual ones. . .

Anyway, round-up of my day as I wrap things up online:

-->Work was work -- not quite as stressful as yesterday, though I annoyingly got out a little later than normal while trying to clean my area. Just hoping to keep up the streak and get through tomorrow and the first half of Friday without any major disasters!

-->Rainy day, so no beanbag game today -- just stayed in, caught up on things, and eventually did a short workout (I was gonna ride the bike, but Dad was down in the basement doing HIS workout for AGES, so I gave up and just did my thing in my room. Ah well).

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" after supper -- Alice has caught up with Arthur and told him a bit about what happened with Carson, and got her money. She and Arthur also talked about what it takes to be a bounty hunter (I looked up what's required for California for a touch of realism), then had Alice take the other quest Arthur offers, to find out where Muddy's gone. Which will be easy, as his girlfriend literally lives across the hall from Alice. . .before she can do that, though, I have to get her to Gallery Noir. Gotta make sure that quest gets done before sun-up!

-->Back to the YouTubes after that:

A) James Turner remains excited about Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey To Batuu and is getting a head start on the pack by building a house for his eventual LP! It's inspired by the Lars homestead in the very first movie, and it came out really neat! There's a domed entrance going down to these two big sunken pits, and a walkway spanning one of the pits, and lots of little rooms off the pits with archways. . .and it's all basegame, so anyone can download it! Granted, it's not as science as he would have liked with that restriction, but he did his best with the cupcake machine and the giant microscope and whatnot. XD I may not be into the pack myself, but it's nice to see his excitement, and I am looking forward to his videos. If anyone could make this pack fun, it's James.

B) Then hopping over to Call Me Kevin for:

1. The Binding of Isaac Rebirth – another one of those Steam games Kevin bought ages ago, but never actually played, it seems. He threw himself right into it, though – after, uh, accidentally hurting himself on the very first room and deciding "okay, that run's scuppered, might as well kill myself in-game." XD And he got pretty lucky with some of the power-ups, especially with range and damage. Isaac looked pretty weird by the end of it, of course, but he defeated a bunch of the bosses, including one where he went in with ONE SINGLE HEART. :D Now that's pretty cool. Sadly, he was eventually defeated by some bone-tossing enemies, but he confessed to really getting into the game and wanting to do more with it. So hopefully we'll be seeing this as a semi-regular series in the future! :D

2. PGA Tour 2K21 – Yes, a golf game. But a golf game with a character creator, and that makes aaaaall the difference. Kevin created the horror that is tiger Golfman – a Bangladeshi mutant with bright orange hair, no eyebrows, a lumpy, misshapen face, and golf ball eyes. (No, seriously, that's an "eye color" you can pick. They actually have quite a few wacky eye colors, in fact. . .) Despite being bred to be a golf prodigy, he was – not very good at the game. XD Kevin got off a few lucky shots, but most of them were. . .well, he was up +10 at one point during a tournament. XD He also tried to play online against another actual human being, but said human being ended up quitting in the middle of the second hole after getting stuck in some sand traps. So, um, technically a win? XD

C) And then (as hinted by the opening of this post) a Vine compilation from my friend Marie on tumblr (whom I RP with and is a big fan of the Forgotten Vows Verse), who put together a bunch of funny videos that kind of reminded her of said Forgotten Vows Verse. XD It was quite amusing, so that was nice. :) And hey, gives me something I can slap into the queue for Friday!

-->Speaking of which, have spent the rest of the evening playing catch-up, getting my queue for the next couple of days sorted on Victor Luvs Alice (just posting one thing per day, it's easier that way), and trying to answer a PM that's been sitting on FF.net. (Time management has not been my strong point this week. . .or any other week, let's be honest. Still need to finish that other review for my friend and FINALLY wrap up her story. . .) Probably not gonna finish that tonight, but at least I've made a START.

But yeah, time to wrap things up for good with my final DW comments and whatnot and hit the sheets. Slept a little better last night, so that was a plus, at least. . .again, hopefully tomorrow won't be a total shitshow. Just trying to take it one day at a time. . . Night all!
