crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

Even if I keep wanting to write Monday -- that's the one problem with a long weekend, it kinda screws up your sense of weekly progression once you go back. But it is Tuesday, and I had a busy but not too bad day back at work for the most part -- caught up on pretty much everything left to me. . .

And then some guy called in about his online pledge at the very end of the day, when my computer was the only one still on, and between trying to answer his questions and needing to clean my area, I left over ten minutes later than I should have. >.< Fortunately the ride home wasn't too trafficky, but still -- I was bitchy the whole time because of it. Really need to streamline my cleaning process when I leave the damn building. . .

Anyway. Despite that, and the weather being iffy enough that there was no beanbag game, I can't really complain about my afternoon:

-->Got in a solid workout on the treadmill, yay~

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- Alice has made short work of the Cathayan (managing to avoid his crossbow of fiery doom), though killing him with the fire ax means she has to change her clothes again, poor girl. But she got the crossbow out of the deal, along with his laptop. Gonna timeskip ahead to her entering the Asylum after cleaning up. . . And I also had an idea about how I should write this story --

Break it up into MORE stories.

Yeah, it just occurred to me -- if it's taking me this long to get through the Santa Monica section, why not make Santa Monica a story all on its own? Then Alice handling the majority of the Downtown stuff can be a story, and then the stuff with Hollywood, then maybe Chinatown. . . Breaking this thing down by locations or acts in the main narrative makes the whole "novelizing an RPG what is wrong with me" thing feel less intimidating. And might help guarantee people see at least SOME of this stupid thing. XD Though anyone who wants the Valice is gonna be a little disappointed when it turns out they have to wait until Part II. . .ah well. We'll see what happens -- I AM reasonably close to wrapping up the Santa Monica stuff, soo. . .

-->Watched some YouTubes, though maybe a bit less than I wanted (my internet was being a COMPLETE bastard earlier tonight, frustrating):

A) More of Jon's Fallout 4 Survival playthrough while on the treadmill – I watched him take on the Deathclaw (after sneaking off mid-firefight for a nap save XD), which he managed to get via running into buildings a lot and peppering it with both laser musket and minigun fire. :D After that was setting up Sanctuary (walls all over the place, two water purifiers to produce extra purified water for him, and he stole the Abernathy's tatos and melons to set up a farm XD), and heading out into the wider world to explore things like the Ranger Cabin and Wicked Shipping! Where he is getting freaked out by the possibility of death by ghoul. XD Into Episode 3 now, which has a title that suggests he's going to get very sick soon – that should be interesting!

B) Then it was time for more Among Us on Call Me Kevin! This time, with him playing the host – ooooh dear. XD He didn't mess around with things quite as much as you might expect, though – yeah, he did things like turn impostor vision waaay down (so they couldn't see people sneaking up on them after they'd killed someone) or give everyone emergency meetings out the wazoo, but he actually stopped the shenanigans for a while to help mentor a newbie, Alf. Who promptly kept voting for him, possibly not understanding what that meant (getting kicked out into space). XD And then there was the last lobby, where one of the people tried to claim Kevin was a girl he'd slept with. . . XD

C) Then it was time for a bit of GrayStillPlays with:

1. Falafel Restaurant! A terrible Unity game about running a falafel restaurant. Except if you're Gray, when it's about glitching tables into the middle of the road, balancing plates on people's heads, and building the Great Wall of Falafel Fryers. XD It was fantastic, especially when he got like fifteen tables to all overlap themselves – and then overlap the fryers. XD How's that hot oil treatin' ya, folks?

2. More Solar Smash! Gray erased all the water from the Earth, all the land from the Earth (getting the total population down to a mere 1 million!), and found a fun way to glitch out the death counter – it involves firing a planet-destroying laser at the same time as summoning Cthulhu and a black hole. People, strangely enough, can SURVIVE that combination. Not without dying first, mind, but still. XD

-->Got my Newcrest Adventures posts done for Victor Luvs Alice, and just wrapped up my Valice Multiverse queue -- now I just have to answer the last of my DW comments, and I'm set for the night! Or, well, set as I can be.

So yeah, let me go do that and wrap things up here. Gotta get enough sleep to function through the rest of the week! I will leave you with this cute little Valice fic someone wrote, inspired by my Forgotten Vows Verse. It's nice to have a new bit of fluff for my favorite pair -- that I didn't have to write. XD Night all!

I know I won't complain about actually being able to read this thing you've been talking about forever. XD

I've done that in the past. I should pop over there again. :)
