The Big One, in BTTF terms -- the one date that, by virtue of Part III starting just before where Part II left off, is in all three movies! The parents and I watched the original BTTF tonight in celebration -- as usual, excellent movie is excellent. :D I'd forgotten just how good everyone's facial expressions were in this one -- Doc's especially. He and Marty both have the range. XD

Other than that, it was -- honestly kind of a depressing Thursday. The weather was cruddy, and while it started out warm and humid, the temperature started dropping around midday. Back to more normal November weather for this weekend. . . :( Also, cases are on a severe rise here in RI, and the governor during her briefing today was like "if you people don't start smartening up, we're going to have to go back into full lockdown." I can't say I expect people to smarten up, frankly. *sigh*

Anyway, the wrap-up for the day:

-->Work was kind of on the dull side, with a side of "why is this one outside vendor so INFURIATING, ugh" -- at least the split week means I only have to put up with it for one more day this particular week!

-->My speakers came today! That was quick. I've hooked them up to the computer, and they sound great! Though a little heavier on the bass than I was expecting, I have to admit. . .still, they're a solid sound option, so I can't complain.

-->Got in a bike ride after that, yay exercise~

-->Between the movie and doing more computer set-up stuff, only got a couple bits of YouTube in:

A) As per usual, exercise leads us to more of Jon's Fallout 4 Survival Playthrough! We ended episode 16 with him discussing Vertibird grenades (and how they enable a decent fast-travel replacement), and making plans for his next moves across the map; episode 17 had him grab his hot-rodded power armor, steal everything he possibly could from the Brotherhood, then leap off the Prywden to go help Preston Garvey retake the Castle. Along the way, he waded through lots of water, got shot at (and shot) quite a few Super Mutants, watched some of his brothers-in-arms crash their vertibird and get stuck shooting at a stuck door, completed the "Diamond City Blues" quest line by finding the chem lab in the fishpacking plant, and finally made it to the Castle. . .where he took out the Mirelurk Queen with a few well-placed frag mines. XD One-shot kill! I will have to remember this for my own "proper" playthrough -- that fight was TOUGH, and Victor had Strong helping! Anything to weaken her before she comes crawling out. . .

B) And I got in one Call Me Kevin with dessert (yay chocolate chip cookies): his latest Sims 4 escapades! Over on his streams, he's been building a nice "gated community" for Jim and his family to live in -- now that it's done, he needed to get the money to actually BUY it. So it was over to his tried-and-true method -- join a rich-looking family and steal all their money through murder and/or marriage! Though, interestingly, since Jim and his chosen victim, Natasha, got off on the wrong foot, it ended up being TURG to get her to commit to him -- after one date! And with her being Noncommittal! Turg just has that effect on people, I guess. . . After a marriage at the unfinished community lot in the quarry, abandoning a toddler in said quarry, and putting Natasha's cat up for adoption, Jim was still about a 100,000 simoleons shy of his goal. So he went and killed Harry Potter with fire to steal his money. XD (Yes, apparently Kevin had Harry in his game. Harry even had a kid! Pretty sure Jim just left her to be taken by social services, though.) So now Jim and his weird little extended family live in the "gated community." Someone's already gotten themselves trapped in the hedge maze. XD I expect great things going forward from this!

-->Speaking of computer set-up stuff, still working on getting my files over here -- I'm using the "mirror" function of the software that came with my back-up drive to make a copy of my various folders (Documents, Music, etc) exactly as they are, and it's, uh, taking longer than I expected. . .I should be able to complete the transfer tomorrow, at least! With fingers crossed that it being Friday the 13th doesn't screw anything up. . .

Right now, though, I really do have to answer my one DW comment and head to bed. Still got work tomorrow! I hope you're all doing well -- night all!
