crossover_chick: Doc looking very sarcastically over his shoulder (BTTF: in a sarcastic mood)

This is what being handed an envelope full of cash by someone who works in another department pretty much the minute you enter the building will do to you. Also having a late lunch and never hearing back from the credit card people. >.< At least after noon tomorrow I won't have to set foot in that building for six full days -- we're not going on full pause, but they are having us work from home the first two days after the long Thanksgiving weekend during the sort-of-lockdown. I've got my laptop set up to handle that, so I'll be good, at least. So we're actually having three three-day weeks in a row, thanks to that and the fact they gave us two days off for one of their religious holidays instead of one the week after. I will take that if nothing else.

Things got better once I got home:

-->Did a tiny bit of work on our new puzzle -- it's a cat sleeping on top of some books, and it's one of those super-fiddly ones where you really have to work to make sense of the picture in the pieces. My parents have made some decent progress, but we haven't even technically finished the frame yet! Doesn't help that it's a vertical puzzle, not a horizontal one, so we're building it kind of sideways. . .

-->Kept up on my bike-riding habit, w00~

-->Got in a little more YouTube:

A) More bike, more of Jon’s Fallout 4 Survival Playthrough! We finished off episode 20 with Jon having to take the most confusing way possible to the secret stockpile P.A.M. wanted him to find for the Railroad – mostly because the quest marker insisted he NOT use the door at the top that he had originally entered from, but instead go back outside, down and around, find this one specific set of stairs, and finally locate the door that I guess was ACTUALLY closest to the stash. Jon was confused, annoyed, and apparently had to cut 30 minutes of baffled wandering trying to figure out where the quest marker wanted him to go (when in fact, he could have just taken an internal elevator down). Oh, Fallout 4 . . . Best part, his stash was in fact just full of random outfits – but as it turns out, this was intentional! Because, when he went back to the Railroad to collect his reward, Tinker Tom told him the stash contained something he wanted very much – ballistic weave! So now Grills Bears has the ability to armor up most of his clothes – and holy HELL nobody told me ballistic weave was THAT OVERPOWERED. I mean, you can get damage resistances over 100 on a set of fatigues if you have enough Armorer and enough crafting materials. O.o I am duly impressed with the Railroad and their ability to make clothes. Jon was as well, and with that unlocked, he decided episode 22 would be a crafting episode! After all, Hangman’s Alley has a number of new residents, he has a bunch of supplies and gear, and a whole new suit of power armor to play with. After a quick swing by Goodneighbor to collect some shipments from the vendors, and sneakily take out some Triggermen for a battered fedora (a Luck-increasing hat that can also take ballistic weave), he headed back to base, collected all his junk from the various settlers, got the “Old Guns” quest from Preston (who found his way past all the cars), and tore down everything that could possibly be torn down so he could start anew with building a proper little house. I left him having established the entrance, the main floor, and the farm out in the vaguely dirt-like area in the alley. He’s having fun, I’m having fun, it’s all good. :D

B) Then, since I did Kevin yesterday, it was time to tackle some GrayStillPlays today:

1. More Solar Smash! Featuring the new hero of the game – the pause button. Why is the pause button the hero? Because it lets you stack the effects of all these planet-wrecking objects while time is paused to get bigger booms. Gray started out with a few rookie numbers, like 20, just for a baseline, but soon started getting up to ridiculous auto-clicker bullshit. XD His piece de resistance? 100 of EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE GAME. I have no idea how the game even RAN with meteors, space worms, planet destroyers, lasers, Cthulhu, etc. all ravaging the planet, but oooh BOY was it glorious. :D

2. More Turbo Dismount! Featuring more horrible and painful boards for Gray to conquer – and one easy long jump. XD We started off with trying to navigate through rows upon rows of super-trains (lower level side to side, upper level forward and back!), moved onto a fall through the nine circles of Hell (aka rings of pulsating cars, with one coming up the middle as a final “fuck you,”), had a long cityscape with multiple paths made especially for Gray to die in (and die he did!), and ended on a cruel, cruel mine fall down a much narrower tube than you usually get with these (relying on the good old shopping cart and the slowest speed possible finally got him to the bottom). It’s not QUITE as hilarious as Happy Wheels, but it’s pretty darn close.

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- the trip through the sewers with Tung explaining the clans and sects to Alice is over, and we're back into actual gameplay! Alice now has to sneak into the warehouse, plant her explosives, and then get out of there before it all blows to kingdom come. We'll see how easy I make it on her. XD And then we meet Beckett, yay~ Love Beckett, he is best vampire. And Alice will think so too. XD

-->Got my queues done for both VictorLuvsAlice and Valice Multiverse (just finished up the latter now) -- so yay, I'm in a good position for those, at least. :)

And now it's time to finish up answering DW comments and head to bed. Got -- three and a half hours tomorrow. Hopefully they will not be completely hellish and I can come home and eat lunch and play Fallout 4 with a minimum of lingering rage. *nods* Night all!

I've never been able to be stealthy with that warehouse, then naturally after planting the bomb I'm in such a rush to leave I don't even think about stealth haha.
