In the sense of I got plenty done, but my schedule got kind of thrown off by various things -- here, look at my to-do list and you'll see --

1. Clean my room: Check – got an early start thanks to getting up a bit earlier this morning (around 9:45 instead of my usual ten). Started at 10:45 AM, finished by 1:15 PM! And that’s with no lunch break, as my parents were busy finishing up our new walkway and I ended up having my own lunch around 2:15 PM because they just wanted to get it done before they ate. (Which is good, as they didn't actually finish until after 3 PM. . .) Suggests that it takes me about two and a half hours to fully clean my room – good info to have?

2. Watch the onlyabidoang video and at least two OXBox/OXtra from the Watch Later, and keep up on YouTube Subs: Five-sixths check (if I have my math right) – due to the whole walkway thing throwing much of my timing off, I only managed to get in one OXBox video today. Covered everything else, though –

A) Started with the onlyabidoang video, which was a run-down of all the new features in the Spa Day Refresh patch! Going over the new fingernails (and the bug that puts their color gradients on clothes), the new swatches for objects (both base game and pack-related), and of course all the new activities and objects related to the Refresh. It was pretty cool to actually see more of what the face masks do, and how having certain traits or being a certain type of Sim can affect how they affect you. . . This is why I like Abi’s stuff – he’s thorough and he generally does a very good job in covering everything in an update. :)

B) Then, before supper, we had James Turner and the latest episode of the Cottage Living LP! Which was interesting, because it was a completely-unedited video, due to James not having a ton of time to record for whatever reason. But he wanted a video up, so he played through a couple of days showing us all the nitty-gritty. Like recycling all the plants that pop into the household inventory, or buying and planting all the oversized crops again, or selling produce to Kim and a laptop and a bunch of strawberries at Gifts-On-Bagley, or taking care of the baby, or all the various farm chores, or Trenton ONCE AGAIN failing to win a Finchwick Fair despite making friends with the current mayor and having the best dragonfruit entry. *sigh* That is so freaking bugged and it’s annoying me. I WANT to like you, Cottage Living, I really do. . . Still, things are progressing nicely, the farm is doing well, Chaz has his own bicycle again, AND Trenton managed to pick up a money fruit at the Fair, so perhaps a money tree is in the future. . .we’ll see! (I suggested he actually plant it near the end of the LP, as growing literal money feels like a good note to go out on.)

C) Then, after supper (and a shower, and getting some laundry for Mom), I got in the one OXBox video I could tonight – “Wreckfest: CRASHING A TOILET with Andy, Mike and Jane in Wreckfest (Sponsored Content)!” THQ Nordic paid the gang to promote their 10th anniversary and play their racing/battle game, where you choose from a variety of strange vehicles and do your choice of arena battles (looking to wreck and be wrecked) or races (looking to actually cross the finish line and maybe do some wrecking along the way). Including, yes, a driveable toilet. XD Andy actually drove that one in an early race (definition of “Fragile Speedster” – very maneuverable, but one solid hit and it’s out), and a pig car in a later arena battle – Mike made the very poor decision to try out a converted sofa for one of the races and ended up coming last after some bad wrecks, while Jane chose a combine harvester for a later race and tried to act as an agent of chaos, only to keep falling into the pit in the middle of the track. XD Very silly stuff, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

D) Then it was back over to the Subs for Call Me Kevin and Before We Leave, a game all about exploring and colonizing planets! You start with a bunch of Peeps on a little world made of hexagons, and have to repair both sailing ships and star-faring ships to explore first more of your first planet, then get to your second planet, and so on and so forth! Pretty interesting stuff. . .Kevin promptly strip-mined and deforested his first settlement (naming it Smogtown because WOO BOY the pollution), then moved over to The Favorite Island, which he only PARTLY strip-mined and deforested while stealing what few resources Smogtown still had to repair the spaceship, then found another island which he used solely as a giant oil pump in order to get enough fuel for the spaceship so he could leave the planet before it got any more wrecked by his love of chopping down trees. ...Damn it, I should have compared him to The Onceler in my comment. “How ba-a-a-d can I be. . .” XD

E) And then, finally, it was time for GrayStillPlays and more Happy Wheels! We’re back to bottle flip openers, this one in space – and where, after getting “not godly” like twenty times (and exploded twice), Gray finally got a couple of bottles on the moon and the world’s most sarcastic win. XD After that we had such gems like an impossible rope swing (through a thumbnail hole surrounded by spikes, then over TWO conveyor belts, one that will literally DRAG you through the spikes); the horror of the Maximum Yeetus (a board with yeet boosters all over the place – you had to figure out how to stop in time to actually hit the win; Gray managed the lower one without even knowing how – especially since he exploded and his giblets went flying to the other side of the board); an I-Beam run (somehow MORE difficult than a bottle run, who knew?); a “fling yourself the farthest” board (Gray managed to get all the way to the end, losing his legs but winning the coin); a hilariously long spike fall (it took Gray a few dozen tries, but eventually he found the one path that wouldn’t lead to him getting impaled); a BOTTLE-JET-SPIKE run (as in the bottles are launched up by jets into spikes) that took quite a bit of doing, with a lower “dodge the axes and break the glass” run (Gray managed both in the end, but it was tricky); and a board all about dodging zombies during the apocalypse (Nixon took a couple out with a sai before descending down a toilet *insert Super Mario Bros. sound effect here*). As usual, just good clean fun from Gray. :p

3. Free Writing Day -- maybe focus on some more tumblr drafts: Check, though not quite as much as I’d like. I did get most of the way through fixing up a draft for a post on trying to determine Alice’s “predator type” as per Vampire: The Masquerade V5, though I haven’t quite finished it yet. Maybe I’ll get a chance before I head to bed. One can always HOPE for another late-night burst of inspiration!

4. Play Sims 4 and either do building or follow Wheatley to another day of work: Check – went back to Newcrest Adventures and played another day of Doctor Wheatley! Which was rather frustrating, because – well. Remember how last time I played him, after his first patient of the day he couldn’t diagnose any others?

Yeah, same shit happened again. He got the first person, Mia, right with an obvious case of Bloaty Head. . .but then failed on the second person, Dhrav Datta, despite the guy having every indication of having Gas-N-Giggles! What the hell, game? My friend Squid is having this weird problem with career advancement not working right – I wonder if I’ve got a similar glitch? Didn’t help when a patient got stuck inside a broken X-Ray machine. . .on the other hand, Wheatley didn’t actually LOSE much performance, as he still had a successful treatment, and Geeker did decent work too if you believe his pop-up. . .I don’t know. At least everyone got to watch a fun season premiere after Geeker got home. And Wheatley had his friend Knox from Eco Lifestyle visit, so that was nice too. Still, makes me wonder if I’m gonna bother following Wheatley to work on the final day. . .damn it, I just wanted to get his doctor’s desk. . .

Additionally:

-->Surprise visit from my aunt today, just as the walkway was basically FINALLY completed – turns out she’d gotten me a BTTF-themed license plate frame. Wrapped in the fancy paper her toilet paper comes in, because the line on it was “When this baby hits 88 miles per hour. . .” XD Cute little gift, and I’m happy to put it on my car tomorrow (since it and my dad’s truck are getting a bath thanks to all the dust kicked up from breaking up the pavers and cutting the bricks and whatnot).

-->Did beanbags late in the day after my parents finally finished the walkway and had a shower and whatnot. I had W-2-2-W-2, Dad had 2-W-W-2-W, and poor Mom had an extremely off day with 3-3-3-3-3. Oof. I’m happy I got those two wins, but I was really rooting for her in the last two games! (Hell, the only reason I won the fourth one was because I got a four and they got threes on a throw where we all had 18.) Maybe tomorrow will be better. . .

-->Finally got my FF.net friend’s latest PM answered, whew! So that’s out of the inbox, at least. . .

So yeah, not a bad day, but -- well, I expected to have an earlier lunch, and then have more time for video games and watching YouTube. I'm glad I got in what I did, at least! And I am keeping up decently well with tumblr RP tonight, and a convo with my friend Squid. . . Let's see if I can get some more stuff done tomorrow, though:

1. Write some more on "Learn To Love Again"

2. Watch the list videos in the Watch Later, YouTube Subs, and Jon's FO4 YOLO episode

3. Play Bloodlines and do some more Hollywood stuff

4. Get in a workout

5. Get more done with tumblr queues

I mean, we'll see how much of it gets done or not. . .but I want to at least try! Night all!
