Got to start my day with a parfait (which I've been wanting for most of the month now), have cookies, and just hang out with my music and tumblr and whatnot. :) Been pretty nice all around! And I aced my short to-do list:

1. Free Writing Day (possibly more tumblr queue stuff): Very check – not only did I clean up another Londerland Bloodlines-related post for Victor Luvs Alice (Alice and her Convictions, and their associated Touchstones), I also started work on one of my little random snippets. It’s actually in my “hypnosnippets” file since I’ve been in that kind of mood lately. :p Hey, a page is a page, even if I’m the only one ever likely to read it.

2. Watch the two OXBox/OXtra list videos in my Watch Later, and keep up with YouTube Subs: Check! Got that all sorted out this evening –

A) Started with my two OX lists:

I. OXtra, “7 Ludicrous NPC Deaths You Might Have Missed in Deathloop” – basically exactly what it says on the tin. The NPCs stuck in the time loop in Deathloop often die in rather strange and unusual ways – here’s seven you can check out while you’re committing your own murders! From a guy being talked into doing a deadly cliff jump off a wolf statue’s nose, to two fellows playing “William Tell” with an explosive gas canister, to a half-naked drunk guy peeing on a generator, to party-goers at a “wolf” party getting slaughtered by trap-door meat grinder if their stories don’t show them in the best evil light, there are a lot of non-Cole ways for these people to get offed! This is what living in a time loop does to you, people. :p

II. OXBox, “7 Most Violent Shopkeepers You Really Don't Want to Steal From” – again, what it says on the tin – steal or otherwise harm these shopkeepers at your own risk! From grabbing items from the store in Zelda: The Awakening of Link, only to find your name changed to THIEF and your body stunlocked until it dies from energy beams should you ever go back into the store, to grabbing an item from a Spelunky shop only to have the irate shopkeeper pinball around the level after you with a shotgun (and if you kill him, then EVERY EXIT is guarded by one of these guys going forward), to stealing from Emil in Nier: Automata (not even from his shop, his PERSONAL POSSESSIONS) and triggering a pretty epic boss fight, these merchants are NOT going to put up with your thieving ways. Hope you have a save you can revert to!

B) Then, over on Call Me Kevin, we had a return to his Minecraft “One Chunk” adventures! AKA he’s back in the save file where he cannot leave his initial spawn chunk! Things are starting to progress in Chunkland – Kevin has world borders that he toggles on and off now to make sure that he can’t stray beyond his borders (generally while mining), and another pig wandered into his plot, allowing him to capture it as well, and eventually lead it and its fellow prisoner into the underground pen he dug out for them so he’d have a little more space up-top. The comments also told him how to grow dark oak trees (apparently the saplings must be bunched, NOT spread out), so he’s finally got a steady supply of wood. The farm is growing, the mine is growing (if – not producing much), and he’s got a decent source of renewable fuel now that he can make charcoal on the regular. On the minus side, he nearly broke his fishing rod trying to fish a chicken from the outside world into his chunk, and got lost in his mine near the end of the episode because he’s dug it out in such odd patterns he couldn’t properly find his way back. *pats him* Don’t worry, Kevin, I’d probably do the same. He did find his way out eventually! Which is more than can be said for the pigs. XD

C) And then we had GrayStillPlays and another GTA V parkour board! This one’s theme was rainbow colors, terrible jumps, and painful tightropes. Gray started out with having to launch himself onto a target he could JUST make, and then went IMMEDIATELY into a tricky tightrope that not only had him going over parachutes, but avoiding spinning satellite dishes at every corner. And THEN we had “pop a wheelie over this bench” jumps, precision leaps onto platforms on top of wind turbines (his hated enemy), tightroping the sides of colorful cylinders (both plain and over EMBEDDED BOMBS), navigating a floating maze of breakable platforms, tightroping over DEPTH CHARGE CHAINS, circling a wall ride with two thumbnail holes on it before having to launch yourself SIDEWAYS through a third, riding over the path of pastel pool tables (another thing Gray likes that is ruined), and finally having to FLY the motorbike through the sky to get through the center of a final thumbnail hole made of overlapping tires and pain. We have a new winner for “boards that will help judge just how much agony is going through in any given GTA V episode,” people! :D

3. Play Bloodlines and start cleaning up the renewed Santa Monica Sidequests: Check! Got a fair bit done, in fact – Crystal left her haven after checking her e-mails, grabbed the Megahurtz Computing keycard, then promptly swung by there, got the lights back on by sneaking through a vent (why waste good blood on lockpicking?), and set up the network hub there. From there she went over to Bertram, giving him back his Data CD and getting an extra dot in Computers for her trouble – she’s a MUCH better hacker now! :) Easy stuff sorted, I then had her start the Library quest, swinging by the smoke shop (and discovering to my delight that one of the two guys you can talk to in there is a blood doll, yay for being able to fill up) and finding Scott’s first note, before heading over to the pier, discovering Scott’s second note, and Blood Boiling the guy who tried to ambush me. *evil grin* From there it was to the closed-up former home of the coffee shop to read Scott’s laptop and learn about the sewer entrance into the library. Crystal stopped by Mercurio’s (for a SWAT Remington, nice) and home to get the instructions and webcam for the Nocturne Theater Schrecknet hub before taking the cab back Downtown! She sold a ring to Fat Larry, picked up her profits from Venus at Confession, then went over to Strauss, asking him about Gargoyles before noting that he seemed to have personal experience and getting him to confess the one in Hollywood is his doing. Two extra experience points and one step closer to that nice Downtown haven! :D From there she finally found a way back into the sewers, and into the access point for the library, where she repaired the downstairs elevator, successfully snuck past the guards, found her way into the secret ritual room to save Scott from Jumbles the bouncer (from the plague bearers quest; he's the guy who lets you into their hideout), and then battled the Lasombra!

I forgot just what a bitch of a fight he is and died twice. *grumbles* Why can’t they all just explode when I Blood Boil them? At least Crystal’s SPAS shotgun came in handy for putting him in his grave, but she was hurting for both health and blood by the end of it! Freaking Lasombras. . .at least by now I’m prepared for the final enemy in the elevator afterwards! Got her back into the sewer and feeling better with the help of some rats, and left her parked next to the Nocturne Theater sewer entrance, because there’s only so many “ugh hard” quests I can do in one day. Things that are going to be a bitch because I don’t have Obfuscate. . .

Additionally:

-->No beanbags today – too cold and gloomy – but we did get up the Halloween decorations! Later than expected (Mom was working on her closet organization system and ended up totally forgetting until I asked about it), but it didn’t take that long – Mom had cut down her dying morning glories and draped the vines all over the front porch, with we accented with some “creepy cloth” (just kind of fishnetty cloth in black and white), a couple of ghost witches, a handful of bats, and a bunch of orange spiderweb (Mom couldn’t get any white). Also a couple of plastic signs in the yard. Simple but effective!

*nods* And now I'm listening to Halloween music while keeping an eye on my RP tumblr and chatting with my other tumblr friends. It's been a very Octobery day, is what I'm saying. XD Let's see if we can do the same tomorrow:

1. Either start Chapter 6 of "Learn To Love Again" OR continue with the Hypnosnippet I started

2. Watch the one Plumbella video in my Watch Later, YouTube Subs, and Jon's FO4 YOLO episode

3. Play Sims 4 and finish off my Newcrest Adventures cycle

4. Get in a workout

We'll keep it at that, add stuff in gradually over the weekend. :p Night all!
