It's a Girl!
Apr. 16th, 2005 10:30 pmGot Lorraine to give birth today! Here's how it went. Thursday, everyone concentrated on greening. George tried yoga to gain body skill:

After breakfast and some stargazing, Doc invited Mystie over to satisfy some flirting and playing wants. Jennifer called Lorraine on the phone -- I guess she heard about her getting pregnant. ;) Pollination Tech 9 also wandered by, giving Lorraine a chance to chat him up. George cornered Lorraine in the bathroom to talk to her belly:

Doc called Clara to up their relationship, then George called Holly with the good news. Lorraine became even more pregnant:

Marty came home, did his homework, greened, then asked George for permission to go out. George agreed, and Marty went out that night with his pal Tina (fortifying himself with coffee). Doc tried out some yoga:

Then rubbed Lorraine's belly before they retired for the night:

While they slept, I added a couple of rooms to the house. I put all the musical instruments, plus the medicine-making machine, into one room, and a cradle and changing table into another one.
Friday, George and Marty came home, showered, and caught some shut-eye. Doc did more yoga while Lorraine made herself an omlette. Clara called for George (right when Lorraine was trying to take a nap), and George decided to catch up with another friend and called Pascal Curious. Marty came home with a friend, Edward, whom he chatted up. Just as Doc was about to head to work, Lorraine went into labor.

Marty rushed in, as did Edward, as Lorraine gave birth. Everyone, meet Eileen.

George and Lorraine were understandably very happy, as was everyone else. :D

Marty and Edward proceeded to make friends, Doc proceeded to just make his carpool, Lorraine proceeded to make herself lunch, and George proceeded to play with his new daughter:

I thought the occasion merited something special, so lobster thermidor was served to all.
-J2: I thought the baby was going to be Elaine?-
Slight case of mistaken identity. I wanted to name a girl what Lorraine would have been named in the original BTTFs.
-J2: I see, gotcha.-
-J: Awww, she's cute.-
-M: I know! I do get to see her grow up some, right?-
Of course, you're not going to college for a few days yet.
-VuM: Good.-
I actually played Twin Oaks Park Emmett before I played Lorraine and Eileen, though. It was a Monday in their world, and the day Emmett was to age-transition. After a breakfast of pancakes together, the kids headed off to school, and Elias off to work. Sarah called up Pamela and made best friends, then studied cleaning for a little while. As she studied, a chance card came up for Elias. He was at a golf game, and was tied for first place with his company president. The choice -- throw the game, or play to win? I chose play to win -- the president took it like a lady, and promoted Elias! He's now a Vice-President, and gained 2 Logic points and 2 Charisma points! He also came home early with a coworker, Gary, who he chatted up to almost friend level. Emily also came home with a friend, Melanie Dirkson (Kat's nemesis in this book idea I have). It was funny, as Melanie looks quite a bit like Emily. Emmett brought home young Scot, and they played Cops and Robbers together. Finishing their game, Emmett transitioned into a teenager:

-M2: O.o Nice outfit.-
That's what I thought. I had him send Scot home and head to the stores to get some new clothes. I also had him pick up groceries. He came home exhausted, so I sent him to bed and made Emily do his homework.
-D: *snort*-
-VD: I like that.-
Me too.
-DW: A heavy Simming session there. What's up for next time?-
Playing Hill Valley and getting Doc and Marty friends -- maybe that'll help poor Marty's aspiration score. (It tanked after a bad party, to remind you all.)
-VM: I know it would help mine. *hugs VampDoc2*-
*other Martys follow suit*
