I didn't get EVERYTHING I wanted to get done, done, but I got a reasonable amount sorted out, at least --

Cleaning: Got a bit of a later start than I wanted, but then lunch ended up being later than usual, so I still managed to finish it all before lunch. XD Actual cleaning went from roughly 10:45 AM to maybe about 1:15 PM, with me putting my bathrobe and sheets in the wash around noon and getting them out around 3:20 PM (they needed a bit longer than I thought to dry). But it’s all done for another couple of weeks, yay!

Tumblr: Didn’t get a LOT done on the old tumblrs today – cleaning took up the time I’d normally use for pursuing Victor Luvs Alice, and Valice Multiverse has been quiet save for one ask reply – but I did just now get the pictures for this week’s Sims update on Wednesday – the shots of my “Slip 42 Camper” build (the nice one that’s on the Gallery, not the mean one I started fooling around with for myself afterward XD) – and do a quick rough draft of that. :) So that’s something!

Sims 4: Welp, thanks to some of my mods STILL being listed as “unknown” when I checked Scarlet’s mod tracker site, me getting to the game rather late, and my EA Origin App finally upgrading to EA Play when I opened it up (prompting me to make a quick back-up copy of my saves, just in case), it turned out to be another building day in the old Sims 4! Not on “Gutknecht Bend,” though – instead, I went to Newcrest and decided to try and make a lot that I could later plop in my Chill Valicer save and have the trio visit on a future update. Specifically, I decided to make a spa lot, since I kind of want to take them on a spa day at some point – and, after checking out the pre-made “styled rooms” that come with Spa Day and deciding that the outdoor meditation spot with its fountains and stools looked ideal for some sort of “central courtyard,” I decided that I’d grab ALL the “styled rooms” and use them as the basis for my spa! This resulted in me making a spa that’s essentially a bunch of rooms sprouting off a big ring hallway, in the middle of which is the meditation courtyard. So far, I’ve made the front lobby area (using the Get To Work “official front desk” and a chair normally unlocked from the Secret Agent career because I thought it looked cool); turned the “styled room” residential-type bathroom into a locker and shower room (I TRIED to use the Spa Day shower, but it wouldn’t fit when I decided to make each shower an individual stall using really tall “half” walls – the Discover University “shower that is just a head and taps sticking out of the wall” DID fit, though) and duplicated it on either side of the lobby; made two rather large bathrooms using the Discover University big toilet stalls (one in green and one in blue) and put one of THOSE on either side of the building; put the sauna next to the green bathroom and made it a pinch longer so it would match it lengthwise; put the juice bar area next to THAT; put the little gym area on the corner next to the juice bar (since I figured you’d want juice after a workout!); put the little yoga studio next to that; and then put the massage table area next to the blue bathroom on the other side of the ring. Oh, and turned what looked like a living room with an aquarium into a hand-and-foot-massage station with a vague ocean theme (largely by making the walls blue), but I haven’t attached it to the main “ring” yet. Here, you can see a bit of what I’m talking about below:

I’m already rethinking having two huge bathrooms like that – it’s quite possible that, the next time I build on this, I’ll replace one “locker room” with a somewhat smaller bathroom so I’ll have more room to fit in the massage areas, and maybe a proper “bath” room for mud baths and citrus soaks and the like. Also maybe a hot tub. I am pretty happy with the general idea and layout, though! I intend to jump back into my Chill Valicer Save next weekend no matter what (I can’t wait around forever for those mods, and the recent patch WAS fairly small, so they’re probably okay), but this might be a good thing to fiddle around with post The Dreaded Infants Patch (which, if that does not break LOADS of mods, I will be surprised). Always nice to have a project!

Writing: Got the first draft of my gift fic for my tumblr friend Marie done! She asked for something involving her OC Madeline Van Dort (Victor and Alice’s daughter in her verses) in the world where she and Bruce Wayne are an item. Specifically, she mentioned them, ah, “going at it” on the floor of the Batcave after he came back from a patrol. XD I ended up writing the scene as them having a chat between rounds, with Bruce noting how “enthusiastically” she greeted him, and Madeline admitting that the jumping his bones the minute he came back was largely borne out of a combination of worry and relief – she thinks a LOT about the fact that he might not actually come back any given day, and after hearing on the news that this particular outing just had him up against ordinary humans and not one of his super-powered baddies, she was so happy to see him again that – well, her emotions kinda ran away with her. Not that Bruce minds, because he thinks about the fact he might leave her alone a lot himself, and – yeah. “Glad you’re alive” sex after a patrol resulted. :p I’ll clean it up next weekend – hopefully she enjoys it!

YouTube: Welp, made a decision today – due to my deeply conflicted feelings about the Hogwarts Legacy video he made (I keep seeing SO much bad stuff about that game online, particularly tumblr, and it’s stressing me out) and the general stress I get from trying to fit his now-longer videos into my schedule (and honestly, I’m not sure I’m enjoying his long form stuff quite as much as I liked his shorter videos – some have been good, some have been more awkward than funny), I’ve unsubscribed from Call Me Kevin, at least for the time being. It shuts my brain up and lets me pick and choose what videos of his I may want to watch in the future, rather than making me feel like I’m FORCED to watch whatever he’s put in my Subs. (Much like why I unsubscribed from James Turner when HE started doing a lot of longer-form stuff after High School Years came out.) I think it’s what’s best for me for now. And it certainly made catching up on the old YouTubes easier tonight –

A) Started this afternoon with the latest from Petey Plays It – “Forgotten Hollow World Secrets And Features | The Sims 4 Guide!” Okay, yes, Forgotten Hollow is a small world, and the video is only four minutes long, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t secrets to discover in this mini-hood! Like there’s actually multiple spots to fish from at the lake! There’s more plasma trees around than I ever spotted (I knew of two, one by the lake and one behind Vlad’s, but there’s also one by a path up to the lookout point by the bridge, and another one in the forest area behind Vlad’s house)! There’s a cool little lookout point by the bridge, as stated! And, if you’re a spellcaster, by either accident or design, you can Inferniate Vlad’s statue in the town square and remove it! I love the little things that you can find in this game, seriously. :)

B) And then this evening we had a double dose of GrayStillPlays –

I. “When you’re Satan's boss” – Gray plays more Hyper PA! His favorite game to be an utter bastard in – though this time he picked a few more “good” options (like not fighting to get her cheating boyfriend boss back, and picking an adorable husky to be the new office pet) in order to earn his PA a fancy angel dress to go with her devil horns. Even with that, though, she attacked her old boss when he announced he was quitting and taking his new squeeze to Hawaii; made fun of her new boss’s name (Karen – yup, asked if she wanted to speak to the manager); pranked her new boss by putting fart pills in her coffee and scaring her with an exploding balloon in the bathroom; deliberately got every question wrong on her boss’s son’s homework; blackmailed the boss into a raise by telling her that she’d tell her wife about her girlfriend (because of course the boss is cheating on her wife); told the wife that she was doing naked kisses with the boss when said wife called and reported finding strange underwear in her car; pranked the boss by adding chili sauce to her sandwich when the boss stole it from her, followed up by vinegar in her drink; told the boss that she was indeed ugly; and “pranked” the sleeping boss by SETTING HER FEET ON FIRE WITH A LIGHTER and then DOUSING THE CEILING FAN WITH GASOLINE! As Gray put it, the boss’s subsequent “resignation” was probably actually her dying. XD Oh, we do love our horrible mobile games around here. . .

II. “Which Car Can Survive the Deepest Water in GTA 5?” – Gray plays more challenge boards from Alex in GTA V! Yes, Alex was forcing him to think again in another game of “figure out the correct vehicle to get through this horrible obstacle course” – now featuring all the water! XD First course was getting some sort of bike or trike through a canal of ever-deepening water (starting at a quarter-foot and ending at about four feet), avoiding all the various wind turbines, “!” sign gates, water spouts, jet-skiers, and people shoot Up’N’Atomizer guns at him along the way. Gray tried and either flooded out or destroyed pretty much every motorbike and trike, and his attempt to steal one of the jet-skiers jet-skis resulted in him finding out that Alex put in anti-cheat measures (after a certain distance, the jet-ski just teleported back to the dude he stole it from), so he ended up completing it on the BMX bike, which was the only one without a motor to flood (though it took him some VERY painful pedaling through the deeper water). Second course sent Gray around various docks and piers, starting in one foot of water and ending in about eight or nine feet, and forced him to dodge a “diving competition” featuring human beings being shot out of cannons (he lost a LOT of cars to these people knocking them off the track), squeeze through a narrow channel around the back of some piers while avoiding teleporting wind turbines, maneuver his way across platforms that teleported from side to side, and run over buoys. Gray gave pretty much every car Alex provided (and the BMX bike he brought with him) a try, but the only one that made it to the end was the hydraulic-laden monster truck, crushing all boats, buoys, and people in its path. And then the THIRD course was basically right at the edge of some lake or ocean, starting at three feet and ending at like sixteen feet, and was actually a two-parter! The first part involved Gray experimenting with the vehicles on offer – like a cube with such big buoyant tires it actually floated, a tractor trailer with missiles up top, and a forklift – and seeing which could actually make it to the middle of the water, where a platform and a ramp waited. . .and then figuring out that he had to use a bunch of them to move the car with the “WINNER” license plate to said platform, as it couldn’t make it through the water on its own (namely, use the provided ramp cars to ramp said car into the back of a rustbucket truck, then onto the top of the missile tractor trailer, then back the truck up to the forklift to drive the car onto the lift part, because the forklift was the only vehicle that could make it past the sixteen foot mark in the water and carry it over to the platform). And then, once he’d made it up the ramp and to the checkpoint, the second part proved to be having to complete a relatively simple wall ribbon with a couple of worrying turns (a loop-de-loop that turned sideways, and then a surprisingly SHARP turn right in the middle). After what he’d been through, Gray was only too happy to take a familiar wall ride, and once he figured out the sharp turn, rocketed to the end! :D We salute you, Gray! And Alex too, because holy crap these boards. XD

And that's about it! I am currently doing a bit of the Social Thing and reading up on "The Infinite Loops" megaverse writing project because I stumbled across it and grew intrigued with what the setting was. (And yes, I am having my own fanficcy thoughts about it -- namely about how hellish a Corpse Bride loop would be, given that canon only takes place over about two days. . .) Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday, though I don't expect that to affect my day TOO much -- focus is gonna be on getting my dash, tags, and drafts all sorted on Victor Luvs Alice; clearing out Poseidon Energy and making it to the Warwick Farm in Fallout 4; keeping up on Gray and Jon on YouTube; and getting in a workout so I can get back to my usual routine. *nods* Night all!
