crossover_chick | Hill Valley Time (Reply)

Keeping with rotating the neighborhoods at least semi-regularly (Emmett Von Braun, I have to admit, is now my favorite Sim, and I'm eagerly anticipating his further adventures), I played Hill Valley today, both McFly and Brown. Ironically enough, they were on the same schedule -- I played them over the weekend. The McFlys had a nice Saturday -- Lorraine served everyone toaster pastries for breakfast. Marty caught up on his homework in the morning. As he did that, who should wander by but Toby Baines! I promptly had Linda go out and greet him.

They chatted for a little while, then Linda sent him on his way. Marty had Ricky over to up their friendship through kicky-bag and hugs. Lorraine came home with a promotion to Rookie -- and Milton Baines! They had a nice chat in the garage together. George worked more on his novel and sold a painting for 80 simoleons. Dave came home with a promotion to Junior Executive and a want for skills. So George and David played chess whiel the rest of the family shared Mac and Cheese made by Marty.
Sunday was a day of best-friendships. Linda came home from her night job with a promotion to Convience Store Clerk. George made breakfast, and Marty made best friends with Ricky over the phone.

He also best-friended Dave over Chess:

George chatted with Seamus McFly for a while on the phone. Marty spotted Uncle Jailbird Joey walking by and engaged him in a chat:

Linda brought home Jan Tellerman, but proceeded to alienate her by some means -- unfortunately, I didn't catch it. Marty attempted to cook some Ramen and started a fire:

Luckily, Maura the firewoman promptly came and put it out. Dave ate the ruined Ramen while Marty cleaned up and Milton called Lorraine. Marty made Mac and Cheese again, and called Doc before everyone retired to bed.
Saturday at the Browns was fairly boring. Clara made breakfast for everyone, and the shower broke. Jules called Orlando for later friendship, while Doc called Joey Baines and befriended him over the phone (poor Doc was concentrating so much on skills, he was starved for social contact). I'm having the kids work on their skills more -- Jules is focusing on cooking, Verne on mechanical.
-D: Any particular reason for that?-
Not really, no. I thought this was cute, though -- Doc and Jules painting at the same time:

Sunday, though, started off with a bang -- we got another burglar! He was apprehended, but not before stealing the bookcase:

Luckily I had a spare one of the same type upstairs. Jules and Verne were really upset by this turn of events, though. The darned shower broke again -- I ended up selling it and buying a new, better one. Verne called up nanny Kendal, then he and Jules watched TV for a while. Doc called Joey again (after poor Verne got his arm stuck and called him to the phone):

Clara came home with a promotion to Science Teacher, too! Headmaster Korey gave her a call -- I should try the headmaster scenario again, Clara has a stove now so she can cook better meals. I also had Doc and Clara try for baby again -- no lullaby though. *sigh*

-MDC: When she stopped writing Spidey, I didn't have anything else to do!-
-DW: That is no reason to dye my hair red!-

I suppose I'll have to give MDC a new assignment. . . .
-VD2: Why don't you make him your website muse? There'll always be something that needs updating there. And he'll be free to persue other fandoms as well.-
