Strangetown's Staying Strange

crossover_chickPlayed the Clayton/Lloyd family today, along with a bit more of the Weasleys at La Fiesta Tech. The girls basically had a good couple of days -- we started off around midday on Tuesday -- Josie got a good chance card about catching unidentified aircraft (or possibly spacecraft) and gained a Body Point for her efforts. Clara and Mystie got along well, while Clara recieved a call from Lorraine and called Doc. Jennifer brought home River from school -- I let him stick around because he was one of Josie's friends. When Josie came home, I had her and River become best friends:
Mystie and Jennifer also achieved friendship. Gypsy came home with a promotion to Specialist, which I found great -- I hated her hours before. Gypsy was in bad shape though, so I had her use the energizer. While the rest of the girls slept, she stayed up and studied skills.
Wednesday, after Gypsy went to bed, Josie was the first up. She taught herself how to make omlettes (I often struggle keeping poor Josie over the green, her wants are often tough to achieve). Mystie and Jennifer were next up, and chatted in one of the bathrooms:
Gypsy attempted to serve a breakfast of omlettes for the other girls, but instead set the stove on fire, with the result she, Josie, and Jennifer headed out needing a bath.
Clara and Mystie greened and amused themselves. Despite her bad Hygiene, Josie made Senior officer, while Jennifer kept up her A+ average. Gypsy brought home Matthew, whom I basically ignored, too caught up in directing the girls. Jennifer had Marty over for a bit of romance, and most everybody went to bed early (except Clara, who energized for a night on the job).
-D: *smile* I'm glad to see our girls are okay.-
-VD: Me too. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Mystie and Josie with their proper mouths. *VD2 nods in agreement*-
LoL, I'm as eager for Nightlife as you guys.
As for the Weasleys, I think I'm honestly starting to hate the dorms. Playing the Von Brauns as a private residence and the Mortes as a Greek House spoiled me. Dorms are always messy, slower than "regular" houses, and just too much activity. *sigh* Ironically enough, I actually got declare major wants from the twins -- Fred wanted Biology (and hated Literature), George wanted Political Science (and hated History). Since it was a cheap aspiration boost, I fulfilled their desires. I will, however, be switching them over to drama at the end of the current semester. Drama fits them better, I think. The twins made friends with each other over a sports game (and over the llama):
I made the twins and Percy study skills for their majors -- I already know nobody's getting a 4.0 here, but I want them to pass, goshdarnit. To that end, I'm doing my best to fulfill the twins' wants for befriending their professors. I even had George invite his Professor Ted over and engage him in a pillow fight:
-M: *snrrrk* I could never imagine doing that with one of my teachers.-
-J: Fred and George don't seem the suck-up types, either.-
Not sucking up -- befriending and charming their way to better grades.
-J2: Oh. Yeah, that's more their style.-
Yup. :D Anyway, must sleep now. zzzzz

LOL! Keep the Strangeness in Strangetown....

Anyway I look forward to hearing more and I too am wanting Nightlife bad! Bring on (hopefully) those 50s clothes!
