My Sims have Money?
Oct. 2nd, 2004 10:04 pmThe Brown family has managed to advance to 3446 dollars, up from 1800 I believe, in two days. The money tree is still giving out regular payments of 40 bucks, and we haven't had any more thefts, which is good. On Thursday, Marty managed to go to school after hitting Platnium mood -- he'd just made best friends with George -- and raised his grade to a B+! Not only that, but he earned 200 dollars and got Lead Percussion in the school band.
-M: Go McFly!-
-J: *puzzled* Percussion? Marty plays guitar, not drums.-
*shrug* At least it was music related. Both George and Doc got promotions -- George to Lab Assistant, Doc to Test Subject. George also brought home a friend -- the very alien-pregnant Pascal. They became proper friends over the chess board. I swear, that thing is a visitor MAGNET. I'm going to budget one for the Lloyd family.
Then, on Friday, we had a bit of bad luck -- the shower broke, and is spewing water all over the place. Marty went to school in a good mood and kept his B+. He came home and met the passing Tiffany Riley. They played Chess together as well. Later, Doc helped Marty with his homework, and they became best friends as well. I also indulged a simple want of Doc's -- get a more expensive bookcase. George came home from his job all smelly and complained about being made to clean. Poor guy -- he nearly got stuff in the puddle continuum.
-D: Puddle continuum?-
The shower kept constantly making puddles, so George kept having to mop them up. I took pity on him and let him go to bed. Tomorrow at their house should be interesting -- they all have the day off. I think I'll take them to a community lot and do some Grocery shopping, they're getting low.
Weird Sims Moment: Doc invited a friend over (he brought a girl friend, the girl joined George at chess), and while talking to him, mentioned Mysteria! Where Doc heard about her is a mystery to me. He followed it up with talking about kisses too.
-D: Sounds like a game glitch?-
*frowns at him*
Mysteria -- Mystery
Hmm. Dunno. Maybe Doc heard Jenny talk about her, they are friends. *shrug*
Oh, VampDoc -- I finished that bit in Chapter Five.
-VD: Finally!-
Which means that "Judgement Day" can be considered complete! Maybe I'll post some tonight.
