It's Raining, It's Pouring

Bright sunshine yesterday, utter darkness today.
-D: It's depressing.-
Yeah. *sigh* Just one of those days where you want to sleep til noon.

Played the Lloyds yesterday, because I felt like I had been neglecting them. We started out on a Tuesday. I had Mysteria go and get groceries just so the girls wouldn't run out anytime soon. Josephine got promoted to Drill Instructor, while Gypsy got promoted to Intern. I had the girls earn skills (Josie got to use the Energizer) and try to invite Doc over. Josephine was unsuccessful, but Mysteria was! Doc came over, and all the girls took turns chatting with him. Unfortunately, Mysteria got off to the wrong foot -- she and Doc could not agree on a chat topic. After a failed admire, they were in minus sign territory. Luckily I fixed things by having them play chess together. The shower also chose to break. I had Gypsy fix it overnight. Doc left about three in the morning on Wednesday. The girls all went to work pretty exhausted. Josie came home first, and called Doc for a quick chat. Mysteria, despite going to work with very little energy, got a promotion to Record Store Clerk. Despite her energy being in the red, she made it to her bed. Gypsy wasn't so lucky -- when she came home, she passed out. I woke her up after a while and sent her to bed. Thursday was a little better -- Mystie had the day off, and Gypsy and Josie went to work fairly green. I decided Mystie should have her lover Weldon over, Weldon brought J.C. I'm mad at my Sim -- she got into the hot tub without permission, then stole the leaves off the money tree. Mystie sent her away and fulfilled a couple of Weldon wants. I left her sitting after a shower. When I play the Browns, I plan to invite them over and make friends.
-D: Interesting. And then I choose a girl for my bride?-
Yeah. The only one I'd consider off-limits is Mysteria, since she's Romance. I don't think you'd like a cheating wife.
-D: No, not at all.-
-VD: *unhappy* Why did you make Mystie Romance anyway?-
You have to admit, I portray you two as affectionate.
-VD2: What about the girls who don't get me?-
Psuedo-Docs? The neighborhood does need more boys. *suddenly laughs* I should do what I keep telling myself to do -- make some other Chris Lloyd characters for the "losers" of the Doc contest. I want to make Henry and Fester mostly. (Fester would have to be bodyshopped for the pale skin, of course)
-M: What about Hill Valley?-
I need ink to print out Gareth's general map and French Marty's downtown map. Though I suppose I could try making a few more families. I'm also considering futzing around with the two other premades -- I'm thinking of making Veronaville completely original (besides the inevitable Doc Sim).

-D: So how are our virtual selves?-
They're good! They've been busy. I started on Friday -- their sink broke Thursday, so I had Doc fix it when he got up (and after Marty used the toilet.) Marty got pretty green a while before the bus came, so I had him meditate outside. Doc worked on a painting while George did his cleaning thing. He managed to max out the skill by the end of the day. Marty brought home Ophelia Nigmos from school and managed to befriend her, thanks to chess and Cool Shades. George got a promotion to Theorist as well. He had a chance card, but I didn't feel comfortable choosing, so I skipped it.
-M: Aw man-
It's easier when they have some ethical weight to them. Doc had Mysteria over after his shift and managed to make friends. George, in a fairly bad mood from studying, used the energizer. That's how he got to max his cleaning skill.
-M: Great. Stop making us clean.-
*sticks out tongue* On Saturday, I decided that the boys could afford their piano! It's sitting outside at the moment. I know, odd, but it ups the environment score a little. Marty decided to catch up on some friends. He had David over and made best friends with him. Then he had his pal Tiffany over and caught up with her. Doc was outside playing piano, and sometimes people would stop and clap -- like the mailgirl. :D Marty met Riff Grunt (mostly just to fulfill a want), then had Ophelia over to strengthen their friendship. Doc quit piano to make a medicine -- got 44 simoleons for it. Once Marty was done meeting friends, I had Doc invite Josephine over. Josie brought Mystie -- Doc gave Mystie a hug and sent her on her way before making friends with Josephine. Once she was gone, I had George bake something new -- a delicious looking layer cake. Everyone had some, then Doc and Marty retired. Early Sunday morning, I sent George grocery-shopping -- mostly to exhaust him a little.
-D: We've certainly been busy.-
And you'll have another busy day Sunday -- party anyone? I locked in Marty's want. I plan to invite some friends he's low with and put either you or George on piano duty.
